they have been having parties every year the seniors of 08 don't have any right to talk.

We have been partying since freshmen year, this taks shit was just an excuse to party, seniors 08 didn't start that. And teachers need to stop being so hypocritical, If they grew up in this town they did the same thing, so they need to stop talking shit

why were all the kids there not given mics

All the kids weren't given MIC's because not all of the kids there drank. Some of the kids there were designated drivers or blew triple zeros into the breathalizer. But the cops were unfair because some people that blew triple zeros still ended up getting MIC's.

no one ever said that seniors 08 started this, it was simply stated that they had a party during TAKS testing. The reason this was said is because it was the most recent influence on them and by the way they are idiots you have to be completely retarted to even be in the enviornment where 56 people get MIC's. Maybe this will open up their eyes. And yes the seniors of '09 do have a right to talk becuase they know these kids much better than you, but good one go on ahead and make yourself think that your special because you partied it up, real smart there buddy.

This whole thing is such a mess.... Some got MIC'S and some did not.... The one's who did are now having to pay the price and I think everyone there should have to pay as well in some way. As a concerned parent it needs to be handled in a fair and consistence manner, which it is not. Also the ones that did get MIC'S and are on the NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY will probably get kicked off what about the others that were there should they should be kicked off too???

The way things were handled by the cops there that night were unfair. Why was it that the seniors who were drinking and then ran when the cops got there, but yet they were able to come back to get their cars before they were towed, and were able to walk away with no MIC or anything? What's the MESSAGE here by the cops? Go ahead and drink, run away from us, take time to sober up come back get your cars and we'll let you go free!!!!I think these kids should be held accountable for their actions.

I agree....totaly, the ones that stayed and faced the consequences are going to pay quite dearly and then the ones that ran got to come back like you said and get in their vehichles and went on their way... I don't get it I hope this all gets starightened out this good be a big embarrassment to our town....

They should not have ran anyway, if someone was not drinking then they would not have gotten an MIC but these cops were not being fair. The honest ones that stayed and faced them and blew 00 still got MIC'S???? Thats what I mean there is no fairness to this whole messed up situation.

MIC stands for a minor in consumption, theres no way anyone can get an MIC with having no alcohol on their breath or in their system. the reason they probably ran is because they could have recieved a MIP for being around alcohol.

why dont all of you quit complaining about something that you cannot change and let the court and the kids deal with their own problems. The deal is they were stupid enough to put themselves in the situation and they all deserve to be punished for being to retarted but life isnt fair and whats done is done. Its not your life so let it go.

It is part of my life since I have kid who was there....Yes none of them should not have been there but we all have done things we should not have.... and life is not always fair but this situation got way out of hand....

To me it's the same as complaining about getting a ticket and the person that sped passed you getting away. The deal is both people did wrong and although in a perfect world both would get caught, we dont live in a perfect world and thats something that we need to understand. At this point in time no one will know why only certain ones got tickets, if it was up to me then everyone of the kids would have gotten one so that they can start to make smart decisions and see that partying only results in negative outcomes. Yes it might not seem for but as of now all you can do is take care of your own kid and punish them properly so that they learn if the others dont learn from their lessons then they will end up paying for it. I say that you take this as a blessing that it happened to them at a younger age so that they can learn from it earlier and have a chance to overcome it.
