Teacher charged with having improper relationship with student

On September 1, 2003, a law took effect in Texas making it a felony offense for an educator to engage in a sexual relationship with a student who attends the school where they teach, regardless of the student's age or gender. In Texas, the legal age of consent for sexual activity is 17, but under the law, teacher-student relationships in which the students were 17 and 18 years old have been criminalized.

Cases in which the student is 17 or 18 years old at the time of the sexual relationship with the teacher have proven difficult to prosecute.

What about the fact that he allegedly has a child from another one of his students--it was not the law when this child was conceived. Also now that the coach has been indicted on this charge, the truth will come out. The molestation started before the girl turned seventeen.

Whoever you are, you are an idiot and need to stop talking. Her supposed STDs have nothing to do with the fact that a teacher/coach cheated on his wife, shamed his family, ruined reputations, and had sex with a student.

Well through the grapevine I've heard most of the college institutions she has applied to have been informed of these events and do not seem to keen on sending an acceptance letter. As we can see not everyone one walks away scrape fee. It's just my opinion but I believe this should follow her the rest of her life. She is at fault just as much as Stevens is.

do you know what the definition of molestation is? Molestation is 1. to bother, interfere with, or annoy.
2. to make indecent sexual advances to.
3. to assault sexually.
she knew what the hell she was doing, she is legally old enough to make that decision for herself. what got hm in trouble was the fact that he was a teacher and she was a student.
