There are well documented FACTS, of cases taken to court where members of Assembly of the First Born have denied medical treatment to children and deaths have resulted.
Some ex members of COTFB would like some answers to these questions. So would I.
http://www.factnet.org/discus/messages/3/1870...
And what about those ex members who have come out realizing they had been subjected to abuses by the very fellowships that were supposed to operate in the love of Jesus?

And...yes, the babies and kids who's blood is crying out from the grave?

If adult members choose not to see a physician for treatment, that choice should be left to them, but innocent children depend on adults to protect and care for them.

Following Jesus admonition therefore:
( people can take it how they want to, but I am suggesting that people had better be VERY careful how they treat little children).

9 And if thine eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is good for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire.

10 See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18

Who do you serve, Jesus? Or your church's doctrine? And since "faith healing" IS a doctrine pushed and strenuously advocated in this church, it isn't so simple as being merely called "a choice".

Are you not "despising", or disregarding the rights of an innocent baby or little one who can't make that choice for themselves, to allow them to suffer and die for lack of medical treatment when your "faith healing" falls flat?

How many deaths will it take for you all to wake up to the evils in these practices?

And before you start accusing me of unbelief, I am an adult spiritfilled Christian who has prayed for myself, and received major healings by the grace and power of God, but thats me. However, I would NEVER allow a child to go untreated by a physician if I saw IMMEDIATELY that for whatever reason, the child did not receive healing and relief from suffering at once.

http://www.apologeticsindex.org/g03.html

When your prayer for healing doesn't seem to be getting results from on HIGH, shouldn't you realize that maybe, just maybe you don't have all that faith you think you do? Or do you just fall back on "fatalism"?

I only wish the general public had a clue as to how many children die from easily treatable and common ailments within this "church". I live amongst these people. Their children die miserable, painful, long suffering deaths from such common ailments as bladder infections, appendicitis and the flu. When a member becomes ill the elders gather round and keep a 24 hr. vigil that is often more of an imprisonment than a prayer vigil. A serious illness is kept very hush-hush for fear an outsider will call authorities. Many adults that wish to see a doctor are prevented from doing so by the ever present church members. And yes, many of them are ready to get medical attention when the pain is severe.
My opinion is YES! This is a cult. Any religious institution that takes away such basic human rights as the right to get medical attention cannot be classified as anything else.

With the advent of the Internet, the public has become more aware of the dark side of the COFB, as well as the Followers of Christ,(so-called church).

We have seen more prosecutions in recent years. Those who are still in the COFB, I would encourage to take a complete break with the grip COFB has on their life and soul, come apart with the Holy Spirit as teacher, sit down with their bible and STUDY for themselves, and ask Jesus to deliver from anything he has not planted. He is the merciful, compassionate one, not the tyrant and ogre that demands blood sacrifice of babies and children.

I was born and raised in a Church of the First Born at Fay where there are two evil, evil, evil women who claim to be prophets but really have taken over the church because they have weak minded and weak willed men there who let their evil wives spread vicious gossip and rumours as the work of the Lord. I have seen these women destroy families and tear loved ones apart. They judge a person and if, in their opinion, that person is lacking, then they are forced out. They believe in rejection and carry it to the limit. I have seen families completely destroyed because they use the church to carry out their own agenda and it is one of power and control. These evil women are Gay Frans and Debbie Jones who have led the church down the wrong path. I was almost destroyed and I have problems now I am an adult because of the way I was raised in that awful church. They are down to about 12 members now and none of these womens children are members. The children run as far and as fast as they can as soon as they can get away from the judgement and condemnation. Jesus never turned his back on anyone, certaintly not his own family and no one should have to make a choice between God and their family, but I have had to make that choice and I lost my family! I will never recover from the despair and desolation I feel over this. I will be sad the rest of my life. It is just a sorry way to live. I cry every day over it and cannot go on now as I am still upset and crying even now. I loved my Mother but was forced out of the family by my hateful, spiteful sisters so couldn't be there for my Mother and she died thinking I didn't love her because she was told that, but it wasn't true! I know the truth and what I have and haven't done and I don't think I ever did anything so awful I was forced to live without my family! This all in the name of love and God? Why? What does love have to do with any of the pain and suffering I have endured at the hands of these evil, evil women?

When the love of Jesus Christ is missing, it means he has already walked out the door. God bless you. Please come and tell your story here. It needs to go nationwide, so that others can be warned;

To answer your question, is it a cult? No. But the Catholic church is.

I do not know enough about any church to say if any one in particular is a cult, but I do recognize cultish behaviors. It's sad really because we all are supposed to believe in God and some of the practices in the churches are not God like.

Not a cult.. Some thing else.. And the argument of faith.. Faith vs the punny arm of man.. But I think a lot of them take there kids to a doctor.. Sum of them live by faith.. Not all of them do.. They have there false believers.... And they have the ones that would lay there life down for what they believe in...

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Sagittarius

You're feeling ultra optimistic today, which is great for summoning up the necessary energy to do what has to be done. But don't let it go to your head and convince you that you're capable of performing miracles. If you aren't behaving in this way you'll have to cope with someone who has a swollen head and thinks they're the cat's whiskers.
