What entertainer would u like to see at the Mary Breckingridge Festival ?

I bet John would come if the committee called and scheduled him. He is not cheap though.
I seriuosly doubt he is ashamed of where he is from. He has family in both Leslie and Clay County.
He is a nice guy.

omg, is this true? is anderson his real last name? i knew he was kin to cecil but i didnt know how. why are people so ashamed of us? we are no worse than anyone else!!!i'm proud of where i come from!

Glad you are proud of where you come from, so am I. Leslie County is home sweet home to me.

John Anderson is kin to CH and a lot more folks on Stinnett. He is also kin to a bunch of people in Clay County. When he came to Clay County several years ago, I personally talked to him and his mother and brother. They are not ashamed of this area in any way. He came and did a concert to benefit Children's Miracle Network.

At that time, he was hired through his booking agent in Nashville, TN. He did not know what CMN was, but was very interested. Later, I saw on TV where he took part in a benefit concert. He is no kin to me, but he is as nice a person as you would want to meet. He and his mom said they didn't get into these parts as much as they would like to. His mom was telling him how he connected to people in this area. One of his cousins was on the committee that had booked him, but he had no clue. He just come to sing where he was booked, so if Leslie County wants him, they should go through his booking agent.

I would like to see the school board. We all need a good laugh.

Jason Aldean played at 4th of july festival I believe it was 3 years ago. It was before he made it big and nobody knew who he was. Do you remember?

I think we need a new entertainer and get away from the locals, I mean they good and all but for a once a year thing we need something really worth wild. We can listen to the locals all year long, and we do have some dang good local entertainers, I would like to see Toby Keith, now that would be a nice treat for our county.

Yep, we could put all th politicians up there who ppl complain about on this site, the school board, etc. Maybe they would disappear.
