how they do it now but they used to tie it there and the dogs would kill it. Maybe they do it different now I don't know..I have never been to it, I like racoons..

We were there and left when we saw how cruel they were being. The racoon was bleeding from its nose. Sitting in the hot sun with no water to drink. Then the poor little thing was gasping for air when the dogs would take the cage in the water. What kind of fun is this???? Animal cruelty in my book.

The poor coon was bleeding from its nose. Sitting in the hot sun in a cage with no water. Then each time he was taken down in the water he was gasping for air. We were outraged that people could be so cruel, so we left!!! How can you call this fun or a sport? This is animal cruelty and it needs to be stopped!! Find something else to do that does not hurt one of God's creatures. Don't teach children to be cruel to animals.

I'm going to report this to the ASPCA. that's the worst thing I've ever heard! If that isn't cruelty, I don't know what is! What's worse is a bunch of idiots standing there watching. Yeah, the coon has a real chance. I'm serious! They'll come out and investigate and anybody involved will pay a very high fine, maybe a little jail time!

If you think I'm joking, let's see how many of these a-holes are laughing when they show up. They don't mess around. A couple of boys went to jail for tottering a dog a few years ago, in one of the surrounding counties. Can't remember which.

I think it is cruel.

Racoons are closely related to pandas and have an intelligence level similar to that of monkeys. Plus they are extremely cute creatures with their little mask like faces.

i was also at the so call coon on a log and it made me sick to watch a bunch of grown men treat a little animal that way, that little coon was so scared and hot and it,s little nose was bleeding.how would they like to be put in a cage and the temp around one hundred degree and have a bunch of dogs barking at them or pulling them off a log into the river. i am also going to contact the aspca and i bet next year they will be some one watching this go on and do something about it.if you want to see how many times your dog can bark take it to the hills and do it ;at least the little coon will have a chance.this is animal curelty if i ever seen it and it needs to be stoped.it says in the bible not to be curel to animals so you big bad hunters better look out cause you sure are curel.i can,t say that i hope the devil gets you but god will.these littl animals has a heart and feeling just like we do but really any one that would do this don,t have a heart,so wath out on your next coon on a log cause some one will be watching you

I'm not waiting until next year and give them a chance to torture another innocent animal. I asked all over and finally found someone who took a video of this stupidity and I'm sending it to them NOW! They'll review the video, find out who's organizing this thing and shut it down! And the people involved better hope all they get is a fine, instead of jail time! If you men are big tough hunters, why do you need this poor little animal helpless, so it doesn't have a chance. I guarantee if you faced it without your dog or your weapons, it would bite your nose off! Why do ppl have to be so mean and cruel? And why do you women stand around while they teach your kids to be the same way? A man who could do this to a poor animal. Torture it, half drown it, let it go without water in hot weather, prob isn't going to be sweet and loving and tender to a woman. They want to be macho man too much for that. Their ego is too big. But, I'm doing everything in my power to see it doesn't happen again!

people only care for their ass and the money they make from making you buy and pay them to kill any animal that's yours.they nothing at all but bunch free loaders.

there are also photos in the Leslie Co News this week shows the poor little thing in the cage with dogs biting at it!!!! so dumb and cruel
