The employees are nice, but the only fault I see is that you're supposed to be in and out in 15/20 minutes, not three/four hours. That's why I go to medicine shoppe. One prescription in particular costs $180 at Rite Aid - I get the SAME EXACT medication at Medicine Shoppe for $30.

The reason that it takes quite a while for scrips to get filled is b/c of the new computer system that rite aid put into place..........it has nothing to do with the employees most of the time.......and you also have to take into consideration sometimes they run as much as 400 in a day so its bound to get backed up eventually.........The major factor is that they only have one pharmacist workin at a time and they have to check every single prescription that comes through...... The one pharmacist thing is a corporate thing.........One person can only do so much

liking rite aid

I like rite aid and Richard is such a nice, caring person. He always makes sure people know about their medicine, the side effects, and that it is the right medicine. He has always been nice to my family.

|
I agree
|
Richard is good and takes time to talk about your medicine and is friendly.

|
I think
|
that the pharmacy does it's best. The store part is ok, there is one worker there that i don't care too much about but over all it is ok.

BEST PHARMACIST

And I know for a fact a girl that works in the pharmacy tells others what kind of medicine some people are getting.

the store employees SUCK, (not the pharmacy). My little boy is five and we was in Rite Aid about a month ago and he is obsessed with fans. The only thing that he likes is the picture on the box. he is really afraid of the actual fan. He had a little meltdown over two fans that were 15.00 each and I told the cashier that it was because of the pictures on the box. I bought them and thinking that i could return them the next day (unopened) and everything would be fine, instead, it was a diseaster. The next morning, I took them back (reciept and all) and the manager took my reciept to another manager and the woman came out there infront of everybody and she acted like she couldn't give my money back because i brought something back a month ago. She also said that I needed to teach my little boy some manners who was sick and tired at the time, and she said that she would give my money back this ONE time and never again. I was outraged of course. I took my money and called the district manager on her and he told me that the policy is that as long as you have a reciept, you are intitled to a refund. It was like she was discriminating against me. If that was the case, she needed to put out a sign that says NO RETURNS or REFUNDS. Since then, I have been doing my business at the rite aid in Hazard, and they are VERY friendly there and it is worth the long drive to be treated better.

No Pity

I have to agree with the Rite Aid employee, you have bigger issues than their return policy. You should have started setting limits with your little boy a long time ago. Bet the school system is going to love you!~

I believe I would have slammed that cow. When they talk about your children, don't it make you mad as hell?

i know. it was bad enough that my child was sick and miserable and i know i should have told him what we were getting, but to have someone tell you that, it makes you feel bad, and IF I didn't have a sick baby at home at the time, I would have done more than called her boss. I am telling you, those people there (not all of them, but some) think that their job is SO darn important. What I should have done was to hire a lawyer and filed a formal complaint, but like I said, I was caught off guard infront of everyone. The reason why I am commenting on this is because those people will treat you like dirt if they think that they can get away with it, If you are in any store, and if you are treated bad by one of the employees, speak your opinion and do not let them tell you that you are wrong. and if you need to make a complaint, do not go to the store manager, because when they tell the head manage, they will try to cover for that person ( believe me, i know) you find the name and number of the person over the whole store, and file a complint. that will get you somewhere.
