somerset goes wet

and hyden is still a dry,jobless,dirt poor town with nothing in it. why dont the citizens of hyden get smart and stop living behind the times about 50 years and vote the town wet? i guess y'all like livin in a dead mans town i guess...

Problem is where clay co went wet leslie co.has to wait 5 yrs to have a wet/dry election.All ajoining counties have to do the same.LC should had been thinking ahead of clay co but they dont think of things like that.

London was allowed to vote wet/dry. Corbin is adjoining to London so is somerset. Someone needs to reread a few laws.

had a precinct went wet the last election but was stopped by the elected officials.the Bad creek precinct went wet by a big margin.that included parts of beach fork .lower middlefork and some of bone's creek. big place and plenty room for all.

Sorry I wasn't more clear, I was referring to "county" wet/dry elections, not city. This lawyer that I assumed knew what he was talking about told me that. He could had been wrong or lying since lawyers are certified/licensed/legal liars,LOL

no body in this county the elected officials wont's the county wet.or ever has.it brings to many people into the county to much money.the big boys be small boys then.other people buy things and have business that knock them out from ever doing it so they keep it for their selves.they no if people cant make money to live on then they got leave then they can buy their land cheap.this county has a precinct wet been voted wet the last wet dry vote the judge then stopped it ..

Where did you come up with that BS lie? Any county can vote for alcohol sales regardless of what neighboring counties do.

The only time limit is a county has to wait 3 years after holding a wet/dry election before that same county can have another wet/dry election.

way this county ever go wet is be tricked into it.like the old fisherman that fished game word was trying catch him using dinomite to kill fish with .he was under cover.told the old fisherman ha lets go fishing i like to fish.the old guy said ok lets go they got way out in the lake the old guy retched down got big stick dinomite with real short fuse lit it. tossed it to the old game warden he said now you can hold it or lets fish some.so the old warden didn't hold it they brought back boat load fish.the old fisherman told the old warden when you need some more fish come with me.you can fish again for me.
