Druging is a way of life, heroic, hard work, and big bucks and eventually getting high on the fruits of druging labor. Now all this is taken away by the state and not only does society lose this hard working guy but society now has to pay his room and board. This makes no sense. In jail, this fellow will not be able to be job material for a DEA agent but only a lower paid hack guarding him. Does anyone really think thirty years will scare drug dealers? A lot of them are too stupid to even read and write so they have no idea what may be in store for them. Since many are so stupid, drug dealing is the only road to the good life. Now the Mexicans are taking over the drug trade from many established dealers and seem to be planning on running the drugs from production to the wholesale market to retail and keep all the profit. So really we are helping to destroy local drug control and easing the way for international gangs take over our city and eventually country markets and rake in the billions which will allow a shadow terrorist government to exist alongside the legal gov. Eventually enough law enforcement will be bought off and enough judges and police killed that the druggies will take over America. This is no joke for the drug gangs are already in control of much of Mexico and are killing law enforcement officers and officials including mayors and judges. Many officials decide to play pattie cake with the druggies to avoid being killed. Besides the money the druggies pay is better than what the Mexican government pays. Think it cannot happen here? Can it? Mexico will become the first narco state and then that state will spread to the border states and into American cities. And our great leader keeps hinting he might attack Iran. Where are our brains? Do we really believe thirty years sentences will stop the druggies?
