The haunted houses diffently make a differece in what somone would give for property in Hustonville.I hope the guy on main street packs up and moves on.He is not going to ever make enough money to fix that building that is falling down.

The guy the owns the haunted house has other businesses and moved across the street and set up another haunted house why donít he fix the one that is falling to the ground an eye sore for everyone to see. I wonder who is going to have to pay to level the building. The city? If so there is peopleís tax dollars at work. If that happens just think what the money could be spent on to fix things in the city. While he spends his earning on other things. That is so unfair. He had 8 months to work on it how much more time does he need to get the street open that the whole city can use it instead for his own use. Just saying! And I do agree it does make property values go down.

The mayor does not need to ease up.He is trying to do what most of the people of Hustonvulle want. The road opened up the haunted house torn down .It has been going on way to long.

I'm so tired of hearing about that dang road go 20 feet up the road and go around.... It's isn't that hard! Why can't people support the ones trying to do for their self and quit running their mouth? If your that concerned about it and it ruins your day that much then move so you can pay your water bill somewhere else other wise shut up and do something productive with life other than being lazy!!!

So it is okay for one person to close a street indefinitely? He had eight months so far to repair the building how come he has not done that. He could have torn that building down and built a multi story building in eight months. Get rid of the old wore building. He doesnít care about anyone except himself so why should everyone else care about him?

Yeah he sounds so self induced! Why don't you volunteer to help? He's trying to preserve history obviously something you don't care about! The haunted houses is what keeps this town going. Would it be better to open ip the road and a piece fall from it to tear up someones car or worse, Hurt a person? Use some common sense! The only thing bringing it down is the bitter people who have nothing to do but get on here and bitch about things such as yourself. And no it's not all of Hustonville doing this it's very few! Get over yourself!

Really? You know so much about the haunted house? Did you read in the paper awhile back about how the city is putting all kinds of restrictions and making it pretty much impossible to fix the building? They are all jealous of the fact that we finally got someone in town that is doing something for themselves and they don't like it! Nobody notices how Hustonville has gone to hell the past few years??? We use to have a store, gas stations, pool hall, feed store, etc. but since certain people have taken over we have NOTHING!!! Wise up people! Don't blame it on the outsider. Blame it on the takeover! Get to know these people before you judge. Bunch of hypocrites that judge and point fingers.
