Water and Sewer and Trash Bill

Did everyone's jump like $30 or more? Mine did. Why do we need this much of an increase? Someone talk please.

Can somebody tell me when the monthly city meetings are? I just have some issues that i would like to bring up.

Wrote on the back of the water bill everyone's water will have a sur charge of 19.78 . I took the time to ask doloris about the extra charge . She stated to me that the department of natural resources said that our water tower would basicly be to costly to repair and the new water tower being built is going too cost 250.000 to hook up too. There are 265 meters in use at this time that's not very many ! If there were more people to share the cost then the cost would have been much cheaper. Thats going to make the town of higbee 63,600 a yr. So if all my math is correct it will take just under four yrs to pay for the hook up to the new tower. Now this does not include all the new water lines or sewer lines that would be another charge added to the water or a grant maybe. And all this could change as far as cost depending on how many move away or move here.

If you want on the agenda, you have to fill out a form now. So anyone wanting to talk should get up to City Hall and get on the agenda. You have to state why you want to talk too.

very imformative meeting. answered alot of questions concerning water lines and the tower

who will have to pay to tear down the old tower with all the lead based paint it will be a hasmat project
