How Do You Feel About Police Officers Enforcing Immigration Laws?

Illegal immigration as we all know has been a hot button issue for several years now.
With the economic trouble in the country now,and jobs hard to come by I think it's time something more was done to stop the trafficking of illegal aliens into our country.

Why is it that our local law enforcement officers do not have the proper training,and the authority to arrest these illegal aliens when they find them? Some say this will only lead to racial profiling.I feel that's one of the biggest excuses the liberal media wants you to believe.It goes right along with "they're doing jobs American citizens won't do",or "they're only here for a better life". Well their better life is coming at a high cost to the tax paying citizens of this country.

Another point I'd like to touch on here is the automatic citizenship for the children born to illegal aliens. That is not why the 14th Amendment was added to our constitution. The abuse of it has gotten way out of line with how it is was intended to be used. There isn't another nation in the world that I know of that even allows the children to be given citizenship if at least one parent is not a legal citizen of said country.

Now I've had my say,so I'd like to get your opinions on this matter.

I think cops should be able to arrest Illegals and send them back. Hello! Its ILLEGAL! And I am not a racist either. I think eveyone should obay the laws of the country. Why are we making exceptions for these people that Illegaly enter the US?

You are so right,and there's nothing racist about wanting our borders secure,and our laws obeyed.

The economy is terrible enough as it is. Should we as a nation of tax paying American citizens continue to pay out money to support illegal aliens and their offspring each and every paycheck we receive? I think not! They should all be rounded up and sent back to their country in handcuffs until they are escorted across the border.

I would volunteer to put the cuffs on the first illegal alien encountered.
