yes he is going to work at our local station WBOC Salisbury MD.....small town on the eastern shore of Maryland our weather here is very mild.Noreaster's and an hurricane passing off our coast every few years.Maybe 2 tornado watches a year if that,winter couple snow storms with a few inches if we are lucky.Most weathermen come here to retire or the young one as a jumping off spot to the wash DC -Balt Md market.

I so glad Smebberfield found a liberal place to retire and work. What happened to Kansas? I guess the charges got dropped and MD does not care. Heck the Kennedy's are still popular up on the East coast.

I was around 12 years old. He used to "start" by paying me with a $100 worth of "Weather Bucks" that he printed up...$20 bills with his face on them. He'd put his hands on my junk, then he'd make me play with his. Before long he'd have my swollen junk in his mouth, telling me that I must have been bitten by a rattle snake, and that he was saving my life by sucking the poison out. I got allot of snake bites that summer, seems like every time he pulled down my pants to give me a snake bite exam, and he saved my life every time. I'm gonna miss that man... when ya coming back, Red Ryder?

I saved all of my weather bucks. He said I could trade them for pizza at Sci Quest. I will do anything for pizza. It taste good

Dan is at WBOC TV 16 CBS in Salisbury, MD

I heard he was fired for going to the global warming convention Al Gore does last year during the April 27 tornadoes, knowing there was gonna be bad weather and not staying here.

Probably needed to get away from all the fraks in this town!

Dan is at Delmarva in Salisbury,MD... He is doing weather there at WBOC 16.. He did what spencer was going to do but he changed his mind and decided to stick with the meterologist job! He wasn't fired from whnt neither was JP or Lisa Washington! Lisa got married and moved to Memphis because of her newly wed husband working and living there.. JP got a job down in Birmingham doing weather down there... Dan was going to do a teaching job til he met an old whnt manager at WBOC that hired dan several years ago at whnt. Dan likes the new job he still does weather for the folks in TN Valley on Facebook and Twitter! Dan just wanted to find a different job somewhere else for awhile but decided to do meteorologist job instead.But he still does weather for the folks in the TN Valley that still want to get updates from him...
