Alabama Woman Hangs American Flag Upside Down To Protest Health...

...I am takeing side with Ms.Orr's on this.And all she is showing what a lots of us see what is going on too ,when there the ones that think that the health care will make this a better place to be but ,its really takeing most all of our right of freedoms away from us if you can not afford to buy the health care you will be subject to a fines and are a Prison sentences and the govements will take your taxes if you have any comeing and put a hold on your bank account and leins on your home. and they not telling you that about 20+ Millions peoples from other country will get the health care free as they are getting now a the cost of most of the americans are paying for and they will not be fines are put in the prison,I rest my CASE ..Stand up for your right and tell your govement NO,NO and VOTE NO>>

I have the utmost respect for our flag but it is because of what the flag stands for that is this lady's right to display it any way she chooses.
Freedom of speech / expression is guaranteed in The Constitution.
The home owners association is just like the Obama administration in that it pushes it's ideals on people whether they want them or not,just like this health care fiasco.

This is disgraceful. This woman is making a mockery of our flag to protest legislation she doesn't like. She is misusing a serious signal, so next time we see an upside down flag, we won't be as quick to pay attention. I hope she gets fined.

This lady has every right to display "Her Flag" as she see's fit. Read your Constitution! What cha goin' do when they come for you, Bad Boys, Bad Boys!

You guys do not understand how insurance and healthcare works... Anyone who does not have insurance is costing taxpayers millions of dollars every year. When Leroy down the street, who is 23 and doesn't want to pay for insurance because it's 'too expensive' has to go to the emergency room because his appendix has ruptured, or he was in a car accident and broke his leg, he ends up at the MED or Baptist hospital, where WE are paying for his healthcare. Our premiums go up every single year because of people like this (along with the rising cost of healthcare due to many, many things - not the government). Those who 'can't afford it' will be given government assistance just like anything else they can't pay for. Insurance is a necessary thing in this country with the way our healthcare is set up.

You have to legally have car insurance to drive a vehicle.. Why aren't people boycotting cars and driving? Because it's necessary to have car insurance (unless you want to be sued into bankruptcy when you have an accident)

While it's certainly Ms. Orr's right to place this flag wherever she wants - I could care less if she sticks it where the sun don't shine - at least be informed people. Learn about how insurance works and how our healthcare system works. Why is healthcare so expensive? Learn about it and find out. Turn off the radio and the media and LEARN.

She is a true American. She is seeing something desperately wrong with this country, and she is acting on it. Thats something more of us should do...

Why does she seem ignorant or a redneck to you? Is that the best arguement you can come up with? Your inability to see why she is doing this is why you like the healthcare reform. YOU are the ignorant one if you think it is good policy. By the way...three is no way in hell that the healthcare bill will pass the senate so shut up and sit down.

I think she has the right for free speach, but to dishonor the flag in this way is disgraceful....Yes our young men and women have given their life blood to protect the dignity of the flag, and this lady has turned her nose up at all they stan for.

While I haven't read then entire healthcare bill -(who has? honestly)- I do like at least some of the provisions against insurance companies and big corporations. This is an attack on insurance companies more than anything else, as well it should be. They are gutting us and hanging us out to dry. The government had to step in eventually or we'd all be screaming 'why didn't the government stop this'... The government can't win one way or the other, and with the huge misinformation being spread all over, it's a wonder anyone knows the truth anymore.

The healthcare setting needs reform. Perhaps you don't understand this bill or what it means, maybe you should research it - from a reputable source - and find out what we should do. Settling for what we have been doing lately is NOT working anymore. Healthcare is extremely important to America and we need to do something to fix our situation. If you do not like this new bill then find out why, and find out some alternative. We need to do our part as Americans instead of sitting around complaining.

Actually the poorest of people HAVE health insurance- it's called Medicaid.
The ones who need this bill passed are working Americans who are not offered healthcare by their employer - be it a small employer or a large corporation.

Also, having a nice house doesn't make you smart.
