I'm really excited for this! I really hope that it lives up to expectations. I'm also curious about what craft beer they are going to be offering.

People around here only drink wine from a box. What r they thinking?? Hope they didn't spend a lot of money.

Maybe you do, but there are plenty of people with class who'll enjoy this place. Hello? Ever heard of the super-crowded event Uncorked that just took place last weekend?

Time to move past the stereotypes, folks.

A place to go that isn't either an underage college bar or a redneck bar. I'm excited!

Heritage is going down the poopchute since fleanutz took it over, raised everyone's rent to pay for the fake salary/job he created for his wife. Tenants have already moved out. More to come.

Yeah, I heard things along that line too, from a couple of people who owned businesses there. They were lured in by reasonable rent rates, and told it was long term. But when then 1st year was up, the front office doubled their rents. Only in Huntington could something like that be legal.

The guy that runs Bottle and Wedge has a great idea but the beer selection at Drug Imporium is better, plus you can get it cold! He really needs to put a cooler in there besides that dorm fridge he has going on lol

Someone also needs to go into that bakery place and put in a damn micro brewepub.Such a waste of a nice building!

Drug Emporium's selection is almost identical to Bottle and Wedge. If anything, the only thing that isn't identical is the fact that much of Drug Emporium's beer has sat on the shelf too long. There are some Rogue bottles there that are 3 years old and they're not exactly beers that somebody would want aged.

About the brewpub, the original idea of River and Rail was to put in a brewpub. You can even see where the license was withdrawn on the ABCA website.

There WAS a brew pub years ago, and it wasn't supported. Now the space is occupied by that fart factory Hall of Fame Cafe.

That's how business rent works, especially in Huntington. Almost all businesses in the area pay more after each year. With that being said, it does suck because it makes it more difficult for entrepreneurs.

Pisces

You're in a very home loving mood today, making you reluctant to stray too far from your own front door. You want to be surrounded by your creature comforts, and preferably with lots of delicious food not far away either. If you've had lots of family squabbles in the past few days you'll enjoy this peaceful interlude even more.
