Midland has never been better at Athletics or at Academics and never will be. And as far as coaching staff, HHS has everyone around beat. Stick to track guys, Atleast your good at running. At Huntington we play and win real sports. Go Highlanders!

Get real, midland sucks! I went there. The place is full of rednecks and dropouts. Drugs are worse there then anywhere, the teachers are horrible and could care less and the teams suck due to lack of knowledge of the sports and coaches.

How many athletes is this cabell county mandatory drug testing going to knock out this year? Will their even be enough kids left to field a team at either school? Didn't Valley beat both these teams last year? They must both suck if Valley could beat them.

And Cmhs is better with kids graduating cause the kids are not worried about the next drug deal they r making. Yes some do but most of HHS is drug dealers and u see them all around Huntington

I talked to 3 current starters on HHS team who all said there coach was a jerk. They wished they could play for Sammons because he is respected. They would move tomorrow if they could and feel stuck. They think there team will be successfull despite coach Seals.

Why can't people support the local High Schools? So many individuals try to create dissent and problems with our schools. Remember these are kids playing sports. It is not the NFL or College. If a kid is good enough to play collegiately they will be found regardless of their high school. Let's all support our local high schools and enjoy watching these boys develop into young men.

Very few comments on here are about anything other than sports---maybe that explains the poor academics. This is the only country that combines athletics with education These other countries have superior educational statistics--it should make people wonder... But sadly it does not From middle school on --administrators and counselors dance for "their athletes"

CCBOE will tell you straight to your face that there's more kids wanting to transfer to Midland than into Huntington. CMHS IS the better school in every category.
