I work at Cabell and love it. I have friends that work at St. Marys and feel the same. No matter how you look at it both hospitals are the same but with a different group of people. I've heard so many bad things about St. Marys, but I'm sure they've heard just as much about Cabell. Some patients leave happy others not so happy. It's just gossip. We're human and misunderstand things from time to time. Regardless of what was said, you can't hold every nurse responsible for what one person was rumored to have said. Even if it's more than one person talking, there are hundreds that didn't say anything. I agree that it's out of line to say anything negative but it shows no class on your part to get on a public forum and say the rude things that you've said and directed it to every St. Marys nurse. And, why go out of your way to talk about people for being over weight? You have to attack people physically? I work with a lot of nurses that also work at Cornerstone and some that work at St. Marys. None of them talk bad about either. Or say bad things about the opposing. With the things that I've heard patients and families say about St. Marys I'd never want to be a patient there. But, I'm smart enough to realize that 99% of what's said isn't true or is extremely exaggerated. It's impossible to please everyone. And, what's the saying? Only believe half of what you see and none of what you hear. Although it's great that you're so passionate about your job and employer. But put that passion into something other than anger. At the end of the day, just remember that you're doing your job and your patients are receiving excellent care by you and it doesn't matter whats said, because YOU know that it's not true and your work speaks for itself.
