I think it was really crappy that the paper would put people's addresses in the paper, where they were picked up, that is a disgrace and they all should be ashamed of themselves!!

Hey, if you don't want that kind of information published in the paper, then stay away from the drugs. The disgrace is the people doing the drugs. The public has a right to know who the drug heads are and where they live and work.

Addresses printed in news about drug arrests .......... How bout innocent until proven guilty?? The damage done by putting information in the news before any conviction cannot be undone. And YES .......... there are countless cases where there have been mistakes and misinformation in police arrests and charges dropped not just on technicalities.

mike wrote: if they give names out like that.....why dont they give the names of the informants humm maybe it's for their protection. Some people want to protect their families and communities. Getting caught, may help that person or persons get medical help or counseling.Have you burried a child from some sort of drug use, or had a sister, brother cousin, or friend be sexually molested? It is good to know someone may be watching. They may even save a life.

I live out of state and can't read the news, cause the herald press started charging $6.00 a month and I would like to know who they were. It not right for us to pay for the news, if we already pay for our interenet services.

Hey!I think it is great to arrest the drug dealers and all. They are not the only problem in Huntington. The doctors in Huntington are just as responsible as these dealers. All you have to do is go the doctors office and tell them you got hurt and they will give you any pain pill you ask for.It is so easy to go to the doctor and come out with a prescription. It is great you got the dealers but you need to arrest the pushers(doctors) as well. you need to raid their offices like you did the dealers homes.

the informants are safe, yes , but if there gonna publish these peoples names before they are found guilty, then they should publish everyone's names involved in this " waste of tax payers money" bust. my goodness, cant they find the police something better to do then to spend a years worth of our money on people ruining their own lives. no wonder the economy is the way it is.

Not Quite!!!! Doesn't work that way in Huntington, they give the proper drugs to the proper patients for the proper ailments. They make sure to pay attention to patterns and everything. That may be how it is up in South Bend or w/e u are, but it doesn't work that way in the tiny town of Huntington, people who get un-necessary narcotic pain meds and such in Huntington, mostly get it from the ER, and even there it is closely monitored.
