Shouldn't this guy be arrested already. Had it been Pancho from down the street, he'd still be in jail waiting his court date. Talk about having friends in high places.....

Hiring this woman to help keep records that contain much personal information on El Pasoans reflects adversely not only on Gilbert Sanchez but the whole county and district. It is a sad commentary when an elected official's integrity and motives in the people he hires is open to serious question.

Everyone in El Paso County....we vote for these recycled politicians, but enough is enough.....time for us to look at all the candidates and vote for someone different.

These aren't criminal charges.

I don't have a problem with giving someone a job so she can make a change in her life; my concern is whether he used the fact that she had a conviction as a threat against her when she refused his "advances."

More use of our tax money being abused. He hires the felon, takes her on tax money (OUR MONEY) for a "TRIP", she doesn't want to play nice (supposedly) now the tax dollar (OUR MONEY) is paying for his defense in her court case of "Sexual Harrasment". Wrongful termination ... how many cases are out there, I know of at least one other that was not mentioned, possibly more? Nepotism ... everyone knows how he has hired his own family and whole other families (his own lawyer SERGIO CORONADO (currently in the running for County Judge ... it goes on and on), his brother is the chief, Sergio's wife and 2 kids worked in Gilbert's office, countless other family members, girlfriends and what nots of judges, lawyers and anyone else that Gilbert hopes would "owe him a favor" just take a look at his staff and see who they are all related to! He is also, running for re-election, claiming that his personal life has nothing to do with how he runs his office, seems like they mix all the time. The county is freezing the hiring process, using cost cutting measures, employees forced to take days without pay, county employees to go without their pay raise. How much is Gilbert going to re-pay the county, for his continued/constant mis-conduct, my bet says, NOTHING! Let's see if the "NEW ETHICS COMMISSION" really is going to cut out the corruption going on in the County! They can start with Mr. Sanchez!

Oh wait, how many friends, family members are on the NEW ETHICS BOARD? Does El Paso really stand a chance to clean up it's act? Stay tuned, I'm sure it will be quite the ride!!!!!

Man! this Democrat sounds almost Half as bad as a Republican Nut Job.

That is why El Pasoans need to atart using their brains. Vote for the right individual for the position, for the job. Stop acting like sheep, stop the democratic party from telling you El Pasoans on how to vote and on who to vote. Use your own brains, put them to good work. Do your own research on these individuals. Dispose of the "vote for one party-democraps". I agree with Oh Please, they are all related one way or the other especially the ethics commission. Now that is going to be a sight to watch, a very disappointed one.

The answer to this problem is so simple. When he runs for re-election, don't re-elect him!! But make sure that the incoming has better morals and ethics.

Veronica Escobar the Commissioner for Central El Paso is another corrupt politician that needs to be investigated and thrown out of office. She Keeps pointing fingers at everyone else so that she wont be suspected. We've known her since her days here at UTEP and she should be the last one to call anybody else corrupt. She's a farce and a flake. She belongs in the same jail cell with Gilbert Sanchez.

Gilbert Sanchez is UGLY! His face makes me want to vomit!
