With the amount of effort that everyone puts into this event maybe the CPD could put a few extra officers on duty for these four days.

Does anyone know when the apple carving competition starts? Is it Saturday morning?

Also is there a Mexican restaurant anywhere in Chambersburg?

Thank you.

Buenos! Muchos Gracias!!

"This year, IceFest has added the movie "Ice Age II," which will be shown at the Capitol Theatre Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in English and at 3:30 p.m. in Spanish."

I've been going to the Ice Fest for a couple of years now & have been seeing a lot of "repeats". More originality next year maybe?

And "Becky's mom" - my parents always taught me, and I teach mine, that if it's not yours, it is stealing no matter where or how you found it - period.

Do you really think the general public "riff-raff" will actually read your words? It was a nice thought on your part though. The ice sculptures are quite amazing.

Just a reminder to those who are downtown seeing the sculptures. OBEY the traffic lights. Walk when the lights say so, not just walk out in front of traffic.

To the people mesmerized by the sight of decorative ice:

If you're standing in my traffic lane, gawking at some giant ice cubes, then I have the right-of-way.

Obey the lights, obey traffic laws!!
Otherwise, stay out of the roadway!!

The CPD should be ticketing these people - no different than other time pedestrians interfere with traffic having the green light!!
