Mayberry Night on Citizen Square was a wonderful fun , family oriented night. Rana and Jim did a wonderful job. Popcorn , drinks and drawings made the evening even better. The kids were too cute dressed up as their favorite Mayberry character. Mannington citizens support was at its best, many people came with kids and grandkids, i even saw a few adults come alone to just sit and enjoy the evening. The weather was beautiful and to see friends chatting and laughing together was the most heartwarming and uplifting experience. What a wonderful sense of community to give yourself and your children. We left there proud of Jim and Rana for continueing to give so much of themselves along with showing their own children what it means to support their community. What better way to teach children then by example. Thanks Jim and Rana!! and Terrin and Stevee for sharing and helping your Mom and Dad!! of course i am bias , but i know the many who attend will agree. love grandma

Raina is a wonderful, decent human being. While visiting a few years back, one of our two beagles ran away. Sadly, "Maggie" was hit by a car near the city limits. Raina took the dog to the vet, having no idea if the dog was a stray, just saw an injured animal. Unfortunately, the dog did not survive, but not because of Raina. It does not surprise me that she contributes to the community.
She's tops in my book.

How often do they show movies at the Square? I know every night isn't going to be Mayberry night, but I was wondering what else they do there. Sounds like a good time.

Sorry we didn't show a movie last night. We were afraid of a storm. We use alot of electric popcorn machine and projector just didnt want any accidents. We will give the honey products out at the next movie. Better safe then sorry.
