having kids is a great responsibility and a precious gift from God-- your own blood, your genes, your beautiful history--
raising teenagers may be tough, due to the hormonal chaos. but come on! you lazy parents, you were teenages too ! bring them up RIGHT--- not bring them over to strangers. they are your blood. lowlife f**kers-- you could have just used protected sex method! no way you could use this excuse. UGH YOU parents who have done such things disgust me! you all should be f**kin' ashamed of yourself! |

Very good point! I believe there is a lot more to the story behind the teenagers than people are telling. There is an underlying reason for behavioral problems. My thirteen year old son had issues from fourth grade up to part of seventh grade. A divorce and pulling him from a private school helped resolve those issues (He was brought up in an Orthodox Jewish environment, went to a private Jewish school [too small to give him choices] and administrators at that school treated him like a criminal. Once I pulled him out of there and placed him in public school [in addition to my ex-husband pursuing a divorce -- possibly the biggest favor he did for me and my son], anger and behavioral issues resolved). While he still may be rebellious at times, he knows how to think about things after we've had an argument and he does the right thing.
Parents are not prepared for "in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or for worse." That vow does not apply to a spouse only, it applies to children as well. And yes, I agree with you, those hormones can be the cause of the problems parents have with teens. We were teenagers once, too, and we were just as difficult! We're just getting a dose of our own medicine and learning to deal with it. Unfortunately, these lazy ones can dish out the punishment (towards their parents) but can't take it. |
