So, Kansas, whose former governor is in the Obama Cabinet, and the current governor is a turn-coat Republican turned Democrat, is awarded money under the grant program Community Oriented Policing Services, commonly called COPS. But the rub comes when the grant money is used up. Then, what do the ten cities do with the cops on board due to the grant money? Do the cities fire them, or dig up the money to retain them?

It is hopeful that the Kansas legislature will turn down this grant money as it will be costly for the cities, and possibly the state, which may be asked to supply the funding to retain them if the cities can not do so.

Who tf needs more cops? Whenever you have more cops, the crime rate goes up.
Let's say you hire 10 more cops making a department of 20 cops. Immediately, crime doubles, as the new cops make arrests. If the rate of crime stays the same, why did you need the extra cops?

I think what Door King is saying, is that if we fire all the cops, crime would disappear.

You guys are F..king smart. It should be left up to the cities to decide if they want the cops and the upkeep that comes with the grant.

Asking cities is they want money to hire public servants is like asking a drunk if he wants another bottle of whiskey. Real Smart!

We would not need as many policemen anywhere if the bleeding hearts out there would let justice be carried out against those that flaunt the law! Way,Way to much leniency these days on crimes! If you rob you should have a hand cut off! If you kill you should be hung immediately(not 10yrs later)! If you sell drugs you should be gassed! If you rape people you should be castrated! Get the picture????

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Pisces

You're capable of making some very constructive and important decisions today, particularly where your relations with certain people are concerned. If you're fed up with the way someone has been treating you, you might now decide that the worm is about to turn and you're going to be much firmer about what you're prepared to put up with and what you won't tolerate.
