Well seeing as how they have drugs all over town and can not stop 4 wheelers from running on county roads He mite be on to something

All I know is it's about freaking time the city and county finally came to task on its illegal police activities.

James Register, Moundville, pleaded guilty to charges of receiving stolen property and vehicle tampering and was given two, four-year prison terms with the judge retaining jurisdiction for up to 120 days.

25-year-old Richard Smyth, Nevada, pleaded guilty to a marijuana possession charge and was given a suspended, seven-year prison term, pending probation.

Probation was revoked for 24-year-old Dustin Jones, rural Richards, and he was given an eight-year suspended prison term, pending probation. Jones had been on probation since pleading guilty to a drug distribution/delivery charge August 18, 2005.

A Nevada man has been sentenced to four years in prison for burglary, stealing and vehicle tampering. 17-year-old Paul Beasley was sentenced Tuesday during a Vernon County circuit court hearing, with judge James R. Bickel retaining jurisdiction for 120 days.

well everyone knows what to do deal drugs in ft Scott or Nevada and you will be a model citizen. ha

A Nevada man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to felony assault charges. 18-year-old Dustin Carpenter was charged after a car driven by a deputy sheriff and a second vehicle were fired upon last May 22. Carpenter pleaded guilty during a brief circuit court hearing Friday and was given two five-year prison terms he is to serve at the same time. Judge James R. Bickel granted a furlough request, ordering Carpenter to report to the county jail April 23.

A Nevada man was arrested almost a month ago for finishing all but 5 hrs of his 40 hrs of community service which he recieved for a traffic violation. He spent 4 days in jail and was not allowed his one phone call. They let meth heads walk the streets of Nevada on probation but if you dont finish community service u go to jail and are not allowed your one phone call.

i thought pleasanton was the meth capitol.

they are definately one of the most corrupt groups in Missouri . Including pulaski county police and the city police departments I wonder how much money they get from selling the drugs back to the dealers whom they busted for them and fined them alot of money

cops are so messed up,they have the highest SUICIDE rate, maybe its because thay have lied on so many people and even beat or kill a incent people I would NEVER trust one.

cops are like all groups of people/ some good, some bad. unfortunately the bad ones will always get the press. i know ft scott/bourbon county cops have always had their problem members, who always seemed to out number the good.

i think meth heads are still running around everywhere in joplin like its no thing becus they deal to some cops and the cops just dont care about meth as long as they have some to

Mainly, for people that commit crimes, but yes, people on drugs or people that sell "drugs" should not be put in jail. small minded small towns people listen to "god" way too much!

95% of the felony cases 2008, in Franklin county Mo were meth related. That included everything from theft to murder. People who deal or use meth should be locked up, I know, I used to be an meth addict for 15 years and have been clean for 7 years now. I know first hand what this drug does to people. the people who deal it should be in prison the rest of their life, and the people using should be in jail for some amount of time, not to punish them, but so they can get off the drug and get it out of their system have a choice if they want to go back to that life. Pot should not be a crime, but any powder, especially meth and cocain should be.
