One must consider the families plight when publishing the "facts". This was a preliminary report issued by the Highway Patrol. Neither driver avoided the other, and it was noted that Mr. Hamilton was a veteran of the Armed Forces. Mr. Johnston was also a veteran...ie: a diabled veteran from the Gulf War who had been awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Mr. Johnston had suffered a seizure immediately before the collision. Followups are never done on things such as this, leaving alot of unknown factors to be questioned. Although the facts were listed as known at the time, the family grieves at the loss of a loved one and hopes readers realize there is always more to the story. Just publishing the "who, what, when, and where" isn't always the news....the "why" is the most important!
