THERE ARE ETHICS BOARDS OF ALL SORTS FOR THIS. judge ellis is great and he tries to see the man's point of view alot of the time only because so many women are getting by with way too much especially as far as child support goes! What a crying shame for our children!

It's almost like we are talking about two different Judges. He did not go by the Tennessee State Child Support Laws when he handled my case, he made up his own. My lawyer tried on three occasions to state the law, and he was told to shut up and sit down. When I complained to the Tennessee State Representive, he said, "there's the law and then there's Judge George Ellis' Law". So people around there already knows about Judge George Ellis, and I have this conversation on tape. I didn't get any justice at all until I took it to the Appellant Court in Jackson.

The TN State Law says that if you have a substanial decrease in income, you have the right to petition the court to get your child support lowered. I owned a small company there in Trenton and I agreed to pay Miss Ex $1,000.00 per week in child support for two children. After about a year, Miss Ex went around telling everyone that she was going to shut my company down if she had to live in a ditch. Very intelligent. She stirred up enough trouble with my customers that I started looseing business, therefore I filed the petition in Judge Ellis' Courtroom. I lost more than half of my income, therefore I there was no way that I could continue to pay $1,000.00 per week. To Be Continued.

Well that was just my experience with him. Sorry you disagree. I am not trying to start a big fight on here. Your entitled to your opinion and i'm entitled to mine. Have a Great Day!

In and out of court for approx 2 1/2 years and Judge Ellis just would not hear my child support reduction petition. On the other hand, Miss Ex could lie and make up some of the stupidess unfounded accusations, and he would just pick that ball up and run with it. I didn't understand this, I filed the petition and he would listen to everything but the petition. Judge Ellis asked on 3 occasions, "is this $1,000.00 per week or per month"? Hello! I just wonder how many cases he gets that involves $1,000 per week, because most of them that I know about is about $150.00 per week for 2 children. To Be Continued

After struggling for 2 1/2 years because Judge Ellis would not hear my petition, I finally got into arears. You don't have to be real smart to figure out what you are doing to a man, when he can't pay a $1,000 per week. Then he puts me in jail. As the bailiff leads me down the hallway, he ask, "what in the hell did you do to Judge Ellis"? Then I have to sit down at a desk for paper work to be filled out, and there were 2 women there, and guess what they asked, "what in the hell did you do to Judge Ellis"?(their exact words). The reason Judge Ellis put me in jail was because he found me in Contempt of Court. The contempt charges stated on the court documents were (1) I bought a new leather coat,(2) I traded trucks, and (3) I took a vacation. Here's the kicker, these 3 items took place over 1 1/2 years before before this court hearing. Hello! If I had a crystal ball and I could have seen that Judge Ellis was going to totally destroy me financially, then I would not have done this. I had to borrow the money from my brother-in-law to get out of jail. When I got out, I filed a petition in the Appellant Court in Jackson, TN. The Appellant Court overruled every decision made by Judge George Ellis and made my child support go back retro active as to the date I filed the 1st petition. But by now, Judge Ellis has already destroyed me financially. His indecision forced me to put my company into bankruptcy, which forced me into personal bankruptcy. So, he destroyed me financially, and he also destroyed my relationship with my children. To Be Continued
