" How did Jimmy Rosendall become JR?..."

the same way Barry Obama became "Barrack Obama"

This is just another case of greed at the taxpayers expense. He deserves prison time and restitution. He was probably friends with Vorce and banked at Macatawa. I hope we continue to punish these crooks!

Also, if I remember correctly, Rosendall was the only trash service other than City of GR that you could use in GR. That has now changed, you can use the City or Waste Management and I think one other. Maybe GR officials are crooked too!

they should just put a giant glass dome over detroit so we can increase tourism by letting people come and watch how un-evolved savages learn to co-habitate. instead of corn, you will be able to put a 5 dollar bill in the machine and watch either crack or meth come out of the bottom so you can feed the animals. there will also be a moat around the perimeter where ted kennedy swims around in circles looking for help.

What is it with these graduates from Forest Hills Public Schools...they sure are involved in a lot of scandals and have mansions in Alpine Township. This guy probably had a bunch of boats, too, just like that Michael Vorce guy. Yeah, right. Put this guy away for life, along with Vorce. And hey, Ken, glad to hear that you're not done asking questions of this guy. Too bad you didn't ask some people tough questions when you were a GR Press reporter!

Hey indy49, before you start slamming Forest Hills graduates on the basis of 2 bad apples, go back and re-read all the news articles about the high standard of education from the top on down over at Wyoming Public schools.

If K squared is involved, you better think 2x about letting him leave the state. Sounds like he could be up for another round of pokey time!

Dear Wood TV:
I will do my best to write this in a "non attacking" and "non offensive" way so that I don't violate your "terms of service". I wouldn't want my post to get removed!!
I would like to say that I am sick and tired of your news channel "digging deep for the facts". All you manage to do is ruin peoples lives. I remember a few months back: A gentleman from Cedar Springs or somewhere up there one the lottery. You had that on your news cast. Everyone was excited and happy and went to that party store in Alpine Township to buy their tickets. BUT then the next day you have to do some sleezy newscast proclaiming how the gentleman was a convicted sex offender. That man served his time for his crime. I am not saying what he did was right or wrong...what I am saying is this: THE PAST IS THE PAST!!!! We all make mistakes and learn from them. We all deal with the consequences for our mistakes. WHY MUST WOODTV dig into peoples personal lives so much??? All that you managed to do was WRECK this guy for winning the lottery. All the happiness and joy was removed from that man the next day when you had to go broadcasting about his past (from MANY MANY MANY years ago). You took his joy of winning and turned it into a way to SLAM this man into the ground.
Months later you do the same thing to Mr. Rosendall. It appears Mr. Rosendall was involved in a scandal in Detroit. I do not support his behavior. But, at what point does that give you a right to bust into his personal life and do everything you can to ruin him? He made a mistake and will face the consequences of his decision! But at the same time, he must do everything he can to deal with the consequences and move on with his life! But he can't, because WOODTV is knocking on his door daily, following him to work at Burns Recovery, and digging into his personal life. No matter where he TRIES to work....WOODTV will follow him...No matter what he tries to do....WOODTV will follow him.
Perhaps you should try REPORTING THE NEWS.....and nothing more?! The guy that won the lottery and Mr. Rosendall have both been harassed by WOODTV to the point where you have RUINED their lives. Don't you think both of these men has dealt with enough consequences? Or does WOODTV have to cast their own punishment too?
Congratulations to WOODTV!!!! Congrats for Ruining lives by "digging deep for the facts". The "facts" should be what happened to get the person in the news....NOT their personal lives, homes, new jobs, or past criminal history.
Your sleezy tactics for "news reporting" makes me sick. When I watch the news, I want to see the news....not you sneaking around some cottage filming inside of it with your camera.
I truly hope I do not win the lottery this week. I wouldn't want people to know that I got a speeding ticket last week! But they would...because WOODTV would dig into my personal life so they could find ANY and ALL dirt from my past.
"O NO....THIS GUY WON THE LOTTERY TICKET BUT HE GOT A SPEEDING TICKET LAST WEEK! LETS FILM HIS HOUSE...KNOCK ON HIS DOOR DAILY, FIND ANY FRIEND THAT HE HAS DONE WRONG TOO, FOLLOW HIM TO WORK, AND RUIN HIM!"
You news cast would have been just as good (or better) with a simple "Alpine township man involved in Detroit Scandal". There is NO NEED to film his home, Show his address, Film his cottage through the windows, follow him to his new job, ect.
Congrats WOODTV, CONGRATS.....You have lost a viewer!

That's what the news is suppose to do...Cover news. By the tone of your letter, your secret is about to be revealed by a reporter doing their job. When you make money illegally or commit a crime; it should be public knowledge.

I agree with " Sick and Tired of it". What the news did to the lottery winner was wrong. I did not know him. I do know Jim, however. As a waitress, I deal with lots of people, many with attitudes. Jim would come in, sit in the same booth and only want coffee and a muffin. He always thanked me by name, bothered to look me in the eye, smiled, always polite, and tipped well, for not demanding any real service. He was one of the few customers I looked forward to seeing. He apparently has made a mistake, but he certainly is not a "bad" guy. I wonder how many of the negative posters would have someone say that they are nice!

Oh sure If my pockets were lined with lots of (corrupt) money I'd have tipped you well also, like they say, you can't tell a book by it's covers and he was the perfect example.

A lot of you have mad the comment that this guy made a "MISTAKE", A mistake is when you turn right when you ment to turn left, or grabed a cola when you wanted a root-beer. But when you steal from all of the taxpayers, that is just a very bad action.
And we should all be held actable for our actions. Anything less than prison time would be a MISTAKE.

Daily Horoscope for December 10

Pisces

You should have a lucky break today when fate steps in and takes a hand. For instance, a situation may seem to be heading for disaster when you're suddenly bailed out in ways you would never have imagined. However, this doesn't mean you can take foolish risks in the hope that things will work out all right because there's no guaranteeing that they'll do so automatically.
