Review: NAC Tumble Cheer & Dance

This is the best place in Nacogdoches to take your child for dance, cheer, tumbling, and martial arts. My daughter loves it. All the instructors are wonderful with the kids and are very experienced. All of the tumble and cheer instructors are SFA cheerleaders and they even have the assistant coach for the SFA cheerleaders teaching classes. They also have a wonderful aerobics program for women. I love it. It's the only studio I've been to in Nacogdoches (and trust me I've been to all of them) that everyone, including the studio director, has such loving and sweet attitudes. All of the parents and kids definitely feel at home there. You should check them out before you go anywhere else.

This place is a complete dump. Do not take your kids to this place. She operates it like a nonprofit organization by charging students for "facility improvements". The facilities are dirty every single week. This little dance studio will not last long, which is a shame for our little town.

NT&C can in no way stand up to the quality of coaches or facilities as the Boys and Girls club. They have a gym that is suitable for Elite level gymnasts and a few coaches that are too. NT&C is nothing more than a perfect example of small town people not knowing what real gymanstics/tumbling/cheerleadi ng is.

Steve is right. This gym, as with any other gym in Nacogdoches, aside from the Boys and Girls Club, is completely undermanned when it comes to knowledgable coaches. Be wary of the spotting techniques used by this gym.

I don't know what is wrong with you people. This is a wonderful place! The owner is a sweet Christian woman and she has wonderful employees. Unlike the Boys and Girls Club there's not a high turnover rate with the instructors, so you don't have to worry about your child constantly having to adjust to a new instructor.

this is a good gym with good qualities. I know the owners now and before they opened the gym. Both of them and their families are great people. They go out of their way to help someone else. If you want a gym that makes you or your kids feel at home this is the place.

Definitely more than it should considering the quality of the coaching you recieve.
p.s. What Does her being a Christian woman having anything to do with the quality of coaching/safety prevention of the gym? All you have to do is go up and ask the owner to see the safety certifications for the coaches working there...and then listen for a pin drop. The B&GC can, and will provide you with the USAG Safety certs if asked, no questions asked.

Recently we enrolled our grandaughter - we had been to another facility - that was supposedly the best place to go. Wrong.....Nac Tumbling is fairly new BUT they have the best interest in each child. To anyone who would have a doubt go and watch - see the interaction with each child and parent, it is a pleasure to see and know that the kids are having fun - learning a lot - and noone is bashing any other business in town. This is a healthy environment to put a child in.

Don't think we're going to come to a consensus on this.
