Plain and simple: Heydorn supported Coughlin not Arshinkoff. Do you really think people in the party that supported the overthrow of Alex are going to get favors done for them. Like him or not, everyone knew what they were getting themselves into when they went vocal against Alex and supported Kevin "douche bag" Coughlin. I love how people by into the fantasy that Coughlin did this for the party and not for his self-interest. If those are out there and belive he did it for the overall good of the Summit County Republican Party; then I guess I'm sorry to say this but "YOUR A MORON". Heydorn voted with the Dems 85% of the time and the only reason she is in County Council is because District 3 is primarily Republican; well at least it use to be. Also, I love how Alex and the Republicans get blamed for the failures of Summit County Government when the Democrats basically own the entire system with an exception of a few. The Dems say Bush or Taft and then the idiot voters vote the Dems in again over and over. Politics is Local and the dems control our local government. The voters of Summit County are clueless

This is better than fiction! I just read on a blog that Robart was the rumored pick. No surprise he turned it down. Too close to home Donny? They had to get a nobody because everyone with sense knows Louise was the best choice for various reasons: incumbant, rich, connected atty for husband, incumbant...DUH!

Just because Widowdummy won the primary doesn't mean he would have won the popular vote- same goes for nurse cratchet. All the primary shows is that Alex has dirt on too many people for anyone to make change happen. The popular vote is what really counts as was shown in the clerk of courts race.

Heydorn would have wiped her butter ball with the Dem this fall...

As for what's best for the people? None of these clowns. A fresh slate of Independents would be nice about now.

Klinger voted for no such pay increase..The city of Cuyahoga Falls does not vote on individual pay increases for employees of the court. They simply approve the general budget for operating expenses at the court, the judges and clerk of courts decide any issues of pay and compensation.There is nothing improper...

Remember that in this primary, many Republicans and Independants crossed over and voted in the Democratic primary. Those voters would be much more inclined to vote for Heydorn. The total votes in the Heydorn/Widowfield race was much smaller than usual and were no doubt the hard core right wing type of voter who went for Widowfield rather than the moderate.

Independent and Intelligent? Why does Louise have to escorted by Klinger? It seems Klinger is doing all of the talking. That does not sound like an independet woman to me. Carol Klinger does not think that nurses are intelligent? Interesting Carol. You really need to stick to numbers at Goodyear and leave the speaking to others that do not insult the intelligent, especially those in the Nursing field.
