Unfortunately you appear to fit that category yourself. You exhibited a great lack of respect in your post, by denigrating another person and resorting to name-calling and insults - simply because he or she expressed an opinion that differs from yours.

I'm so sick of people making this into their own thing. This man died doing something he loved. You should respect the fact that his family members are grieving and may read this. Comments like the above are just plain rude. Whether you agree with hunting or not, this man does not deserve your discourtesy.

Hunters do a great service by keeping the heard to a managable level. If it weren't for the hunters more people would be killed by them. The next time a car collides with a deer and it comes through the windshield and kills someone, think about what if a hunter had killed that deer. Sorry, but the most dangerous animal on earth is man.

Headlines are misleading. He just happened to be hunting from a treestand when he passed away. I've often told my wife if I've got to go, I would prefer it be doing something I enjoy. Read one post who referred to his death as deer deaths by auto collision. Not sure if your slow or just insensative, in the future please take a few minutes re-read what you've typed, then delete it and sign off.

The deer population is kept artificially high so that hunters can have something big to kill. If it wasn't for the hunting lobby we could kill off most of the deer. They were actually hunted to extinction in Ohio, then reintroduced so that Bubba could indulge his Budweiser-fuelled Great White Hunter fantasy. Think about THAT the next time a car collides with a deer and it comes through the windshield and kills someone.

Pennyslvania deer aren't as big as Ohio deer. The only way to tell the difference is Ohio deer have an O under their tail.

I have yet to see an article that states a deer killed a human. Do they carry guns too? Have a driver's license? They were here on this earth before any gun or automobile was invented!

Jimmy Agler The fish were biting, into the evening late, but you had a heart attack and fell overboard, and now you`re bait. Let`s hope the bass practice catch and release !!!
