Halloween is too dangerous these days with all the cars on the roads, people in the old days stayed off the roads during halloween hrs and now a days they don't.

Please should have neighborhood parties or maybe the schools could have something

Please do away with Halloween its not safe anymore......

re: CUT PAY.correction. It happen because the Republicancongress and a Republican President ( named Bush) deregulated the financial sector( because they thought govt is "bad', and the private sector knows best, left alone. apparantly not; how soon we conveniently forget , and want to always blame the dreaded US govt for everything. try putting the blame where it belongs- the greedy PRIVATE SECTOR.

Re: FOOD STAMP ISSUE. Americans all over are FAT, not just those on food stamps. They eat starches, sugars, pastries, and cholesterol ridden red meat, and dairy products- butter, cheese, cream.
Quit slapping the saturated fat butter on the bread. Happy heart attack.

re. INFLATION BASED. correct. thank you, President Obama. Republicans would never do that. Republicans never voted for Social Security in the first place.

Since when is Clinton a republican? He is the one who passed The Financial Services Modernization Act . Your blame game is getting old. There are alot of people who are responsible for this crisis, republicans , democrats and the rest of the citizens. Obama is not helping one bit, he's just throwing our money around.
As for Social Security, that's just another mistake Obama is making. Don't give the $250.00. Don't borrow any more money. Fix the medicare fraud now, don't wait until you try and implement the unwanted reform you are trying to shove down our throats. First things first, fix the fraud then talk about reform.

Your blind trust in this president is obvious, thankfully many Americans have enough common sense to question him and his policies, it's too bad the president doesn't have enough respect for the citizens to actually listen to them and hear what they really want. Obama is just making many of the same mistakes Bush did, you would think he would have learned instead of constantly blaming his failings on the previous administration.
Fix them and stop the blame game.

Medicare fraud comes from the private sector. Blame the bank robbers not the tellers. Drop a dime. Recommend we repeal social security, medicare and medicaid, then
$250- good idea- tell that to the 80 million recipients.
Govt is the employer of LAST resort. tell the private sector to get off their a**es. the trust id not " blind". more to come. 81% of the AMERICAN people are in favor of the public option, and healthcare reform.
Quit bashing the AMERICAN govt and its duly elected President.
Come up with some solutions, and not stimulating the economy is not one of them. Take an economic lesson from the Great Depression- sit on your hands for 10 years until it comes around? last i checked it was the private corporations that we laying people off.

Thats because 81% polled are lazy and want the govt to do their research and then tax someone else to pay for it.......

You're right the private corps are laying off while the govt gets bigger and bigger in a down economy..

Scary trend..........

I am not fat and I eat butter on my bread, baked potatoes and other veggies too. People are fat because they eat too much. Taking in more calories than they use.

Stop Halloween?? Are you kidding me? Stay off the road would be a better solution or bring you kids to those neighborhoods that aren't in a busy traffic area.
Wow, it's sad that you would suggest that. Especially if you have a young child of your own.

the public option pays for itself through premiums paid by those that elect the PUBLIC OPTION. Don't want it , then keep your private coverage and watch the premiums, co-pays go up, coverage go down , and rejected claims mount, pre-existing not covered, delayed payments , rejects, hard time before they pay anything. Private carriers are not your friend.

The pay czar sets salaries BECAUSE the Corporate officers and management are being paid with TAXPAYER MONEY, that's why.

Prefer that they get multimillion dollar salaries, bonuses, stock options , extended vacations, golden parachutes, countryclub dues , expense accounts, for screwing up to begin with. Lucky they did not get fired for being incompetent

The Pay czar should indeed cut the pay of the heads of the banking mess, starting with Dodd and Franks, even Obama.
