she seemed ok at first the more i talk
to her her mood toward me changed alot

felt like i was being talked down to more
and more and judged for my problems instead
of trying to help me thru some of them until
after enough times i didnt go back ever

speaking out makes me feel hopeful

I have seen Marjorie for quite some time. I have talked to others in the field who I did not connect with at all and did not feel comfortable with. That was not the case with Marjorie. One quality which I like is that she listens (to the point of recalling things I have told her long ago). This means a lot to me. It makes me feel as if my words are not just going in one ear and out the other. I like that she tells me does not pull punches with me and is not afraid to bring me down to reality, I respect her for that.
I think that with therapy, very much like any relationship there are good fits and bad fits. Your relationship with your therapist is a very personal one so if it does not feel right - I say move on and try another. And keep trying until you find someone who you feel you can trust with some of your most personal issues. It does not have to be anything concrete, it can just be a feeling. And I trust Marjorie so she is a good fit for me.

I had a traumatic experience with Marjorie Kroeger. So much so that I felt compelled to post a review, though unflattering, on superpages.com ,
and topix.com , in 11/08.

Two months after it was posted, I was astounded to see another review of a bad experience that someone else had also endured under Marjorie Kroeger's care.

I felt compassion and vindication as soon as I saw it. Reading what that person wrote truly saved my sanity, and from the tone, I may have helped him/her too.

This is how and why reviews work, isn't it?

So, why did sp.com remove BOTH of these reviews from their Website after they had been up for months? Topix.com still has them. They don't expire.

Is Marjorie Kroeger narcissistic enough to convince sp.com that such reviews
would have to be lies? And/or complained until sp.com took down the posts?

CENSORSHIP ANYONE?

My review was posted for one purpose: To warn people like me, about people like Marjorie Kroeger!!!!

Clearly someone has an ax to grind here... Any educated and well informed person understands that not every therapist is a match for every client. This negative review of Marjorie is mean-spirited and the reviewer clearly has had no actually experience being seen by her. As a client of Marjorie's for several years I can tell you that the descriptions of her as a therapist and a person are ridiculous. Marjorie Kroeger is a thoughtful therapist with excellent boundaries, incredible professionalism and a kind and honest personality. I have recommended her to friends and acquaintances and will continue to do so. I would encourage the reviewer to understand that the purpose of a review is not to slander or harm a person but simply to relay your honest experience of something. I would also like to add that these two negative reviews seem suspiciously fabricated and conveniently justify one another a little too well.

Having known Marjorie Kroeger for several years I have found her to represent herself with the utmost in professionalism, ethics and honesty. She is compassionate, caring and has been a tremendous help for me throughout a very trying time in my life over the last several years. I have highly recommended her and will continue to do so. She is an amazing therapist and individual and I am honored to have worked with her.

I am saddened to see someone so bitter and angry slander such an wonderful person. I truly hope whomever has written these "attacks" on Marjorie Kroeger's character seek out a therapist that is able to assist them on their journey to a more peaceful and rewarding life without the need to be vindictive, untruthful and "nasty". As I reviewed the comments noted I have found them to be without merit or justification as I have personally seen Marjorie as a therapist for many years and have found her to be exceptional.

With all due respect to Ms. Kroeger (since it's obvious you're following along):
NOBODY bats 1.000. Big deal! so you messed up on 1 or 2, there are 3 others who think you do a great job.
("Mary/Muriel"--it's so painfully obvious that you're the same person--"both" from Boston; "both" posted on the same day;
"both" start with "M".)
Also, your pathetic attempt to "reach out" to this guy by denying you ever met him (or her) sounds as condescending as it does desperate. How do you have a "misunderstanding" with someone you've "never met" or spoken with? That's moronic, and it seems you've given WAY too much credibility to your "Guest" with this tone.I could go on whining too, but what's the point? My .02 has been added, and at least, I'll be able to chuckle to myself when I see "Review: Kroeger, Marjorie (Nov '08)"--for the baa-zillionth time!
Oh, well, at least the days are getting longer...Heh Heh
