Hey iblosted. you dont know the story, you dont know anything except what Erin from KDM has said. And we all know she cant get a story right So dont get involved. And child protective services doesnt need to be involved. you sound like a puss, "I need my government involved to help me through life" The less "authority" the better.

Then why hasn't anyone contacted the newspaper with the "real" story? Maybe because there is no defense for driving over the limit with kids in the car.

Why dont the cops focus on real problems. Like catching Benny Masters, not spending 48 days to find someone that got away from a standoff. (when they had enough cops to take down the whole block) The reason why is... The cops are SCARED they are pussys that dont want to confront dangerous people, they want to spend time herassing people that have been drinking. These cops are not heros, they dont deserve praise.

No, they would be putting their lives on the line if they were catching real criminals. Not focusing on Drunk drivers. People driving down the street put their lives on the line when they drive down the road.(due to drunk drivers) Still, not one Hero to be mentioned? I know KPD and MCSO officers that drink and drive. Where is Benny Masters? Are we waiting for him to stab someone else? Maybe, they might catch him then... Maybe, or they might wait for the third one. Who knows, They are busy with Drunk drivers...

Well, I guess that would depend on how you define hero? Here's 2 for you...Randy Apfel and Chris Lane. Who is the Benny Masters you keep talking about, should I know him?

Man suspected of pushing man off bike, stabbing him May 16, 2009
Bennie Bernard Masters, 30, of Kingman, is suspected of repeatedly stabbing Lloyd Willard McGowan, 51 ... McGowan was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center and later flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas, according to officials ... Bennie Bernard Masters, 30, of Kingman, is suspected of repeatedly stabbing Lloyd Willard McGowan, 51.(AZCentral -- News)

Why are these cops Heros? How did they risk their life for someone? Or do you just know them?

Tell them to go find this guy. Save someone's life. But then they still wouldnt be Heros, they would just be doing their job. Is a truck driver a hero for bringing food to a store? NO, It is his JOB.

That's why I wanted to know your definition of a hero, hero is used loosely now a days. I do know them, they are my nephews and MCSO deputies and i hear some of their stories and trust me they put their lives at risk more than you could ever imagine. I had no idea what went on in Mohave County until talking with them. I don't think anyone will understand what law enforcements does for them until you send a loved one out day in and day out and wonder if they will come home safely at night. Both of my nephews have been hospitilized and it is not because they are bad at their "job", but because who they work with....idiots, criminals, mentally challenged, drug addicted, drunk people, people you and I certainly wouldn't want to work with everyday, not a job just anyone is cut out for or willing to do, but must be done.

Then use my example. And ask them to do the job they were hired to do. (serve and protect) not harass people for drinking and driving. We have real crime that they need to focus on. if they come across an impared driver deal with it and go back to work on the real crime. Sorry they were in the hospital, but i would feel bad for a guy getting hurt driving an ice cream truck aswell. They are nephews not heros. Your words, not mine.

So do you really feel this women is being harassed???? She is not guilty of driving drunk and putting you, me and let alone those kids in harms way...the officer WAS serving and protecting. No, they are not just my nephews they are heros to some of those they have served and protected, trust me. And about the ice cream truck driver being hurt....he may have been serving, but he wasn't hurt trying to protect was he....?

I think that drinking and driving is not good. But, having kids in the car makes it a million times worse. I for one know (this girl) she is a wonderful person. The problem I have is that the police arrested her, and now the discussion is about her, for what? The same thing that the cops do all the time. Again, I dont approve of what happened, but I am not the one arresting, getting a pat on the back, and turning around and commiting the same crime. Police should NOT be immune to punishment. I believe they should not think they are above the law. Just sayin!

Mending fences. You are not seeing my point, I understand you relation to these officers. But, that is not the point. Im certainly not trying to take your love for you family away. I appreciate family's that love and stick up for each other, as I do. But, my point here is not family, it is the fact that the ice cream truck driver does his job and does it well. the police dont do the job they are hired to do, if they were, then Bennie Masters would be in jail. instead we have 10 DUI's every night. I would like to see the officers that I and you employ, act as if they understood that we employ them. Go get busy cleaning up the filth. We have seen to many deaths this year, I for one know that Bennie should have been in prison 20 years ago. Yes when he was 10. He has been a problem all his life. Darrel K. The same way. Your thoughts?

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Pisces

You're lacking in energy and resources today, which will soon slow you down and make you feel as though you're wading through treacle. The only way to cope is to have as many breaks as possible, and not to set yourself impossible goals that you could never hope to meet. You're also very susceptible to the criticisms or put-downs of others, but do your best to ignore them.
