Funds sought for Lincoln-area Internet service

A Lincoln-based communications company seeks $5.57 million in federal stimulus money to provide high-speed Internet service to 3,400 homes and businesses in 63 Penobscot County towns, its owner said Wednesday.

Great hope it is better than Fairpoint. Now if we get satilite tv with someone other than Dishnetwork or Direct Tv, where we can pick our own packages that would be great too.
Now to get a better phone service here you are talking.
