The people that poisoned this dog should be made to drink the stuff them selves...The dog owners should be fined for failing to keep there dog properly restrained

Paintball guns are fun, very effective and don't cause serious injury. Get one and you'll be grinning from ear to ear every time a critter dares set foot in your yard

Those of you that are with the dog's owners obviously missed the first article several months ago that stated that the neighbors (the ones convicted) actually DID talk to the owners. They (the dog's owners) responded by doing nothing. That is why these people took the matter into their own hands. The authorities will do nothing unless the dog is considered a danger, and then they will destroy it (without any charges or outrage brought against THEM, I might add).

What the previous article failed to mention was that these people laced food scraps with the antifreeze. That's baiting. The previous article just stated they left antifreeze out in a bowl in their driveway, which is not illegal in and of itself, and makes what they did a whole different ball game.

As for the dog being an animal, well...news flash: So are we. If you're not a plant or a rock, you're an animal. Humans just happen to be a bit higher on the food chain. And animals DO learn from getting sick. Why do you think (wild) animals (and humans) don't regularly eat things that are poisonous to them? Because over the centuries, through trial and error, they have learned and had it evolved into them so that it became instinctual, not to.

In the summer I have neighborhood dogs crapping in my yard too. I've told one of the dog owners and she claims it's not her dog. But I've watched it, even read it's tag. What rights do I have against a irresponsible dog owner? It's a nice dog, don't want to hurt the animal. But I sure am sick and tired of stepping in their dogs crap in my yard.
Dump in on their front steps. I've done it and it generally works.

You could hit the owners too for a little extra enjoyment, I mean justice.

Wrist rocket works well. No one should have to put up with neighbors dog using their yard as a place to poop.

Humans are pathetic. Regardless of the circumstances, these people poured dog food in a bowl, then poured poison on top of that, knowing the dog would eat it and suffer horribly.

This is what the couple thought was best for everybody. Now the world knows who they are by name.

That poor dog might have been trying to do them a favor by stealing their food.

The owners should have kept their dog in their yard. But that doesn't make it okay to kill the poor thing! The offenders have demonstrated poor judgement and poor skills in problem-solving in addition to demonstrating their manipulative and violent behavior. What would they do if a neighbor kid got on their nerves? I wouldn't want to live by people like this.

The pain and suffering experienced when a dog poops in your yard is pretty small compared to the pain suffered in losing a pet, or the craziness of murdering a pet. This is why there are stronger laws against animal cruelty than about cleaning up poop.

Those of you who plot and plan ways to collect poop, retaliate and stalk dog owners have too much time on your hands.

The dog's owner's got this dog killed. The people that poisoned the dog were just plain garbage. May they rot in hell.

hey, if you don't want to experience the "pain and suffering in losing a pet" then be a responsible pet owner! you do NOT allow your pet to run the neighborhood and poop everywhere. the dog does not know better but the owners sure as he*l should! If you watch your dog poop in my yard and do not clean it up, I sure as he*l will find your home and do the same back to you! don't like it? then be responsible or don't own an animal. pretty simple!
