She pled self defense and there was quite a bit of evidence that Ed was abusive even though I was not aware of that. I knew Ed pretty well because I have purchases several firearms from him over the years. Barb was with him a few times. She was much younger and friendly. I was shocked when I heard about the murder which was several years ago. Ed was quite a character and is missed by a lot of his gun totin' squirrel,coon, and rabbit hunting friends. Glad I had the opportunity to know Ed. But, according to the article I read after the sentence, Barb had to kill him! Case closed!! Literally!
