Aren't they already poaching? What do they need
an application for? They can't fill it out anyway.

It's funny until you see deer hit by local traffic or get stuck someplace in a city area where they potentially get hurt and are caused to suffer or starve. Of course I don't suppose you're willing to volunteer your time or effort to actually help a stranded, mamed, or trapped wild deer. Have you actually seen starving deer from over population?
You must be one of those who likes to watch animals suffer.....or do you have a better way to control the population of deer in an urban area without costing tax payers additional money.....I don't hunt but I'm not ignorant about the situation!

You don't have to be a redneck to enjoy hunting and fishing and having food on table. Drinking and hunting is illegal, Don't you know that.

The last time we were in Little Rock we saw a deer under someone's car in the middle of town. I was definately surprised. At first we thought it was a very large dog.

Hmmmm, well, when a deer smashes your car, see how you feel about the "rednecks" who could have prevented it from happening. I am very educated and enjoy the occasional beer and deer hunt...

I see we have another that looks down thier snobby noses at people less fortunate. Some people (such as the rednecks that you make fun of) eat the deer meat. They don,t hunt for the "sport",but for food for thier tables. People like you make me ill.

It's true, we have neighbors that hunt out of season just to feed their family. Times are hard for many.

I've never met anyone here who didn't use the deer meat for food. Those of us who can afford to buy groceries should be thankful.

Even our local food pantries are running dry. We are currently organizing fundraisers in the area to help out.

oh timmy. can I call you timmy? there are plenty of rednecks who eat the meat but that is not what he is talking about. Even of the ones who eat the meat there are those who hunt just for the "sport" of it and not because they can't afford food. you're trying to make it seem like everyone who hunts is a destitute victim who can't find food. and just so you won't have to point it out, yes, yes I am better than you and rednecks who use bad grammar and use that annoying accent make me "ill."

We've gone over the 4000 posts count, and we need to celebrate that marvelous number. Wish it could be 4000 bucks but my fat rear end won't let me get up and shoot no more. This Forum has been, and will continue to be the best trash talking board covering the Village, and the Quad cities. The numskulls and idiots badmouthing me have nothing to offer, and continue to ignore the questions and concerns of the Villager home owners. Perhaps we have been abit to informative with our posts, so the restrictions imposed on the CV Mayor & City Council access should keep the loonies in the dark quite nicely. As "Mr T" always said, Pity the poor fools! As Doris Day once said, que sera sera! As The 3 Stooges once said, My corns are killing me. Why don't you do something for them? Why should I? They never did anything for me!

Well let's see here..........there would have to
be ZERO deer in order to prevent a deer from hitting your car. How is hunting going to prevent
that as long as there are any deer alive?

I've run into a deer. Where was the redneck that
could have shot it? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

I guess it depends on where you live. Mtn. Home is totally different than the areas surrounding it. Not so many doctors, ya know.

Well, y'all just make fun of the so-called "rednecks" all you want, but if we "rednecks" piss you off, I don't know why you would want to live in south AR anyway.

We love it here and we are going to keep hunting.
