what kind of rehab is bears house

I have a cousin who is gonna be made to go to rehab and we were told that there is a rehab caled bears house in horse cave. Does anyone know about this place,how much it costs? Who runs it? We heard lanny branstetter has something to do with it and caveland church. I would really appreciate any help you can give me and if this is a legitimate rehab where my cousin will get the help he needs!

Call and talk to Lanny Branstetter. He will tell the truth about it. And if he doesn't know he will get you the information that you need.

Is Bear still running it. I knew him several years ago and he was a stand up kind of guy. He'd been there, he'd done that, and he was helping others back from it. I was proud to know him.

The Bear House is a christian based rehab.. it has helped many people find their way to christ and be saved and turn their lives around.. bear house stands for BASIC EDUCATION of ADDICTION RECOVERY! the good lord helped my uncle think of that name cause that is what many ppl know him by..(terry gragson).. if you knew him way back years ago.. you would know what kind of person he use to be.. and he can tell you stories.. but GOD has really changed him for better and i think GOD everyday! it is a place where they help men who are struggling with substance abuse, provides a safe place for men to live and recover, help men live sober lives through a 4-step recovery program, help men regain job skills, social skills, and family values..and get counsled by bear.. he use to help and counsel ppl in the ADO(Adiction Delevery Outreach) this one is at caveland baptist church! a very anointed pastor!! When this one stays filled up and ppl have to wait to get in from jail .. the courthouse will send them to The Bear House! it's great what God can do for ppl! if you need to know more just leave a mesage on here and i will try to help!

I am glad that Bear is doing well. I knew him after he had come to Christ and was working to straighten his own life out. He had related a few stories to us but not a lot of them. It is good news that B.E.A.R. house is still helping people. Good luck.

Let me tell you I know bear and he is 2 faced as all get out, that place is all about the money they can get off you they charge 100 dollars a week to stay and 200 to come there and then you have to buy your own food and if you don't you starve!They say they are christians but it's just a show i know this for a fact my family had to deal with him at the ado house at cave city and now they have figured out a way to get alot of money off people who have nothing!If they are christians how can they tell you if you can't buy your own food you starve most of them that go into places like this have no money and they say they will help you find a job,that's a lie too! Please i know this for a fact don't let your cousin go there is what I will tell you and alot of other people will too!Just ask around ask the ones who have personally went thru this place they will tell you! I can start naming names but I won't for know!

i have partied with bear for many years,this was a long time ago,let me tell you,we did some partying back then,im glad bear is doing what he is doing,helping others,along with lanny branstetter who by the way is one of the finest men i have ever known,that man will help you out with anything if you ask him,he is a fine person.and with lanny,it aint all about the money,i can promise you that.

maybe lanny is alright, but i don't think he knows all about things that bear does and says to hinder alot of people!

can you take your concerns to lanny and see if he knows about them,because if what you say is true then it is hindering treatment and lanny will not stnad for that,so maybe he doesnt know what is going on,can you go to him in private and have a conversation about what you know.please do this if you will,i think this could be important.thanks

this was a flyer made to pass out to ppl.. and if you do not like it why keep comming back fo find out info... this is for ppl who want to serve at the BEAR HOUSE as well.. this place is not to feed ppl or to take care of them like a little kid.. it is alot like living an appartment, do they pay for your food, no!! it is a place to help you come off of addition thru christ.. not to be put down or JUDGED.. my uncle is doing his best and doing what the lord has called him to do.. i am sorry if you ppl have issues about this place or him.. if you do.. then you need to take it to the lord ask him to deal with things... not be cruel and run ppl or places down.. romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God! just because you are saved and are a christian does not mean you will not sin!! read you bible and study.. you might learn somethings!

Yes he does put people down, my brother has been to this place and is out now thank GOD! He said bear put him down and wanted him to do things that was not right and he knowed it, but it don't matter, he got thru it BEAR is a liar!My brother can tell you alot, If your cousin is thinkin about going there, think again. It's just a money racket making money off the Poor and most vulnerable! Look at other places, no other place charges that much money and you also have to buy your own food! And if you can't pay you go back to jail, now how is that christian like! Most christians will see they are trying even if they don't have the money and will help them instead of putting them down all the time and telling them your going to jail if you don't pay, and they did not help in any way find my brother a job!So that is a lie too!

hey bears neice,what is your mother doing nowadays?is she still in active addiction and lying and stealing whatever to get her some dope?she is one nutty fruitcake of a woman,pray to god that you dont turn out like she has,any friends she had are all gone now,noone can stand to be around her,how she is still alive now is a mystery to everyone.you kids have had it rough but it seems you are doing okay and im glad,we have prayed for you all.

my mother is no concern to n e one but God.. i know she is not perfect and we all are not.. i show her the christian love i know i should.. when you have prayed for ppl you do not set back and talk about them or what they have done or how you think they are.... she may not have alot of ppl around her.. but you know what... no matter how bad she is GOD is still going to love her.. i will pray for you my brother! if you want to ask about some one.. plz do it in a nice way not judgemental plz!

like i said.. you should take your thoughts to God and let him deal with things.. BEAR HOUSE is not a place to treat you like a little kid.. this is not a place to get your way.. they can't just up and have you a job!! look for one!!.. should you not be thankful you have a roof over your head..a place to lay your head down instead of jail!?!.. if you did not have money to get you something to eat there then how would you be buying it if you lived somewhere else..??? i would like to know your definition of a christian!!.. u act like we are suppose to be perfect and do everything right... if we were perfect there would be no need for Jesus!! so why put this place down just cause it did not help your cousin.. i have done seen it help many ppl already.. and expecially done seen ppl come to christ(AMEN)!! first of all Caveland Church is not affiliated with the bear house or Terry Gragson. The ADO is totally seperate from the bear house. God provides for the ADO and they do not need to get on here and beg for donations. If anyone is saying that the bear house is part of Caveland Church they are very mistaken. Terry used to work for the church several years ago. He then went out on his own.
