I think it is a little harsh charging the 16 yr old that has no clue. but nail the dumb mom and the people that had the house party. In the other post their are actually dummies that support the mom.in saying "kids will be kids" their is nothing they can do about it. ya know what. when I was 17 I came home in the morning hung over sick throwing up. Guess what my Dad did? I spent the day throwing up on an 80 degree day spliting firewood by hand with the log splitter parked in the driveway. I don't I never touched a drop till my 22 birthday. I hope this stupid lady sets an example for the people that serve minors. Don't have to be your kids best freind.

Why did channel 10 have to resort putting a myspace post into the article? Also I am pretty sure this happens a lot more times than what is reported. Many parents buy alcohol for there kids parties. Anyways this mother and daughter are plain idiotic.

My parents did the same thing. Back in 1976. and now. I have, and have had, alcohol problems. Parents, please think twice . It could effect the rest of their life.

I didn't realize that "almost 17" is close enough to the legal drinking age of 21. How did this idiot of a woman get a degree in nursing? The 16 year old sounds like she is as stupid as her mother.

Again, WHERE ARE THE FATHERS???
This is the problem with "white people in the burbs", no fathers are ever around. They can make babies, but they can't take care of them.

LMFAO, ya it's just a problem with white people Mrs. Jones! All Black families are very "traditional". Get your head out of Obamas arse Mrs. J.
Red beard...I just meant that if you look at the forum list, there are 2 other threads going. Like this is a thread we are posting on, there are 2 others. No biggy....and I totally agree with you by the way.

I think that the 16 year old should absolutely be charged, she had her mother purchase the alcohol and she supplied it to her friends. These kids need to be taught a lesson. She's been walking around school laughing and bragging and acting as if what she did was "cool". Let's see how cool she is in 10 years and which gutter she ends up in. If we would make examples out of these spoiled rotten brats more often, maybe they would realize that the consequences aren't worth trying to be "cool".

okay first, it was wrong but you have to realize the media is out to make it worse than it really is. if you werent there and dont even go to dansville you shouldnt be talking cause you have prolly heard all lies. yea the mom messed up, she is paying for it okay so lay off. and Mrs Jones, dont bring morgans dad into this. thats just immature to bring up something when you dont even know her family, GROW UP.
and yea the whole myspace thing, not the brightest but if you look now shes taken it down and regrets it. things have been very hard for everyone and ik its not good to joke about it but right now shes very stressed and just tried to lighten the mood. you try going through this. none of these people have said its not their fault, everyone has admitted they messed up and regret it. get over it and stop bashing them, let them deal with this without the help of all the people who think they are helping by saying that they are idiots, cause really your not a help.

copyyy, I don't know exactly how it can be much worse than what it was unless somebody had died. I'm thinking Morgan's only regret is the fact that she has been caught having no remorse for any of this, otherwise she wouldn't STILL be running her mouth and thinking it's cool and funny. If they didn't want people bashing them and talking about it then they would have thought before they did it, especially the mother. I wouldn't care if it was a week before my child's 21st birthday, I would NOT purchase them alcohol, even if they were drinking it in my presence. I hope this serves as a good lesson to the rest of our youth in Dansville.

What a horrible person and a worse mother. And anyone that attempts to defend her is either related to her or just like her.

Great, a spell checker. WTG your very smart City res.

I feel that one of the big problems with "kids these days" is that they are not held responsible for there actions. By saying "oh they feel bad and regret it enough without you bashing them" is letting them off to easy. God forbid a kid feel bad, or be scared.
There are consequences to your actions! Part of living in a small town is everyone knows your business, deal with it.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Aquarius

The more you want to control someone, or someone wants to control you, the more difficult life will be today. It's a Full Moon and a lunar eclipse, so the last thing you should do now is to act as though you own this person, or tell them what to do, because it will be an instant recipe for rebellion and trouble. Mars is retro in your house of significant others and open enemies after all. If you don't want to spoil the evening's celebrations you'll have to make compromises, and hope that this other person will do the same. Don't let the fuss stop you having a very happy New Year's Eve.
