As soon as ANY person of ANY NATIONALITY enters this country illegally they have broken the laws of our nation and should be returned as soon as they are caught. They have not earned the right to government aid in any form whatsoever with the excepttion of a trip home. I welcome any race or nationality that comes to this country LEGALLY! I had the opputunity to visit many other countries and met some great people. But if I had gone to some of these countries illegaly I would still be in some third world prison. You don't become a citizen by breaking our laws , you become a criminal.

By the same token, do you realize that we have a very large representation out of the former Iron Curtain countries and the Continental Europe. So let's have equal opportunity when discussing immigration. When discussing immigration, lets not also forget that it is much easier for those from latin american countries to get in than it is for those from european contries. And really, a 747 from europe everyday -say all those overstay their visa's does not come close to the estimated 3 to 5k NIGHTLY.

Thats very naive to believe that. Have you ever seen forged passports with legit visas? Documents are easy to obtain, even right here in the US.
For what some guy crossing the border pays, others pay for the documents. And there is quite few nonhispanics using that border. Because of the resistance to close the border. And that includes Canada, which has a very liberal immigration policy. There are border crossings there, where one just waits until closing and then cross the street. And where did the terrorist enter into the US ? Canada.

And you really dont believe forged passport users from oversea's even comes close to 3 to 5k across the southern border. Let me tell you about the northern border which i live on.Lets say you want to cross in michgan's Up. First your not going to do it in winter--we will find your body alone with all those hunters every spring.Secondly do you have qa clue how thick the forest is along the border area is? with something blocking your path every 12 inches, crossing at many points of the northern border is for the stupid only. That and the vast area , you can go past 100 miles of forest before you even hit a road, let alone a town.Again, you think the crossing at the northern border comes close to the southern border?

You are not talking with someone that never left the city limits. One of the major issues for closing the bordersis because of the Nation's safety. The forest areas are no more riskier trhan crossing a desert that can kill you during any season in a number of hours.

Sanctuary Cities Are wrote: For a map of U.S. sancturay cities, see the map at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:US_Sanctuar... As soon as the next amnesty bill for illegal aliens becomes law, most of these cities will be asking for a Government bail-out to defray the costs incurred for providing social services and infrastructure costs for the non-tax-paying foreign invaders. There can be not doubt that Los Angeles and San Francisco have been asked by this administration to hold their bail-out requests in abeyance until they amnesty bill passes. The other sanctuary cities have the same problem. Once again, they try to disguise the amnesty bill by calling it "immigration reform." They did that in 1986 with the Immigration Control and Reform Act of 1986 which only exacerbated the problem. Thanks for the info on that site. Thats amazing. Wonder why they left out El Paso and so many other cities. Not ONE city in New Mexico, not ONE Texas Border city. Maybe they just did the map with certain population levels, like a MILLION or more? This so called "Immigration Reform" from Obama and the Socialist Democratic Party, will never amount to anything less than TOTAL amnesty. This is just something else they will simply shove up our ***. "We The People" will not have any say in the matter and absolutely no voting will be allowed. As soon as this looks like its going to happen, ILLEGAL Mexicans will be coming across the border "shoulder to shoulder". Then they will have 50-75 MILLION more ILLEGAL Mexicans to add to the Obama-Care Plan, welfare rolls, school classrooms. And WE will still be paying for all of it. Napolitano has NO clue as to whether the Borders are secure. Her numbers of illegal crossings is called "creative math". Next she will be telling us that the 10-20 MILLION that "were here", has attrited down to probably only "400-500 people in the country ILLEGALLY". The ONLY hope that we have for any of this stupidity is to get rid of all these ***holes next election in 2010.

And honestly,no terrorist is going to attempt a crossing with planning and most likely have help waiting.

Take ONE hike thru the desert, easy to get lost as it all looks the same, the heat and sun is very different from your hotest day in the north. The nights can be very cold.
Given a choice, I take a forest hike. Much better chances of survival.
In short no border is really secure. You can only hope to discourage and slow the people down enough to catch them. Close the North and South border, then how do we close the ocean areas.
The only solution is do what most countries do, once caught, deport. Keep track of ALL visa holders.

Until gps dozens of hunters year walked off never to be again, cant see landmarks in a forest. You dont think it doesnt get cold at night in the forest--you think tree's block or produce heat. The borders will not be closed until we end this "close" relationships with mexico with canada, see NAU anyplace in that relationship? BW bush was a fuc*in globalist and i think obama is the same.

Now you know why no illegal immigrants will be covered under the house proposed healthcare swindle. Comrade Obama plans on making them all legal. America can't afford three more years of this administration, let's make him prove his citizenship or declare the last election the fraud it is and void!

Plod, I still have a house in the Pa. mountains. I spend part of my time between the NE and SW. I am no stranger to hiking in the mountains.
Bird, that is such old news and if you bother to read the citizenship laws, he qualifies even if he was born overseas. All he needed was one parent to be a citizen and the birth recorded. So the b/c is a non isssue.

Never said you were, but having been in the search parties for hunters and kids who wonder off into the forest year after year during the 70's and 80's, i can only count the number we found on hands, were as the ones who have never been seen or heard from again numbered in the hundred's.

When the water runs out, especially in the Summer months, they are DEAD. In the forests, people are likely to find streams, ponds of water. In the desert, mountains, it's all much the same. Sand, rocks, cactus, mesquite bushes, deadly rattlers, scorpions, but no water. They are murderd, robbed, raped by "coyotes" and bandits that prey on them out in the middle of these "no man lands". When they become to tired, injured or sick to keep going, the "coyotes" that they have paid to get them across the border, simply abondon them to the desert. Skeletons are found, scattered by animals under the scrub bushes. The U.S. Border Patrol has installed rescue beacons along the border, with flashing beacons on top. If a person can find the beacon, they can SOMETIMES be rescued. Thats the price they pay when the Mexican Government pushes them North to the U.S.

Bird, do you know how difficult it it renounce citizenship ? It requires interviews, documentation and even turning in the passport doesnt do it. Perfect example, Lee Harvey Oswald. He submitted a signed statement and went throught the whole process, even offered small fry info to the soviets. He still retained his citizenship was provided a new passport.

The Mexican Border IS NOT going be secured nor Immigration Laws Enforced nor Laws pertaining to Employment of Illegal Aliens until 50+ Per Cent of the USA Voters ELECT a USA President and a USA Congressional Majority who will insure it is done! It is very common knowledge which USA Senators VOTED for the ILLEGAL ALIEN AMNESTY BILL last time---yet the VOTERS of those States march in lock step to the POLLS on Election Day and RE-ELECT THEM. . These VOTERS are very, very, very happy with the number of Illegal Aliens in the USA and want/desire AMNESTY for the ILLEGAL ALIENS in the USA with continued WIDE OPENED BORDERS/COASTLINES so many, many, many million more ILLEGAL ALIENS can ILLEGALLY ENTER the USA. USA VOTERS get what they VOTE for---it is the VOTER'S DECISION and until the VOTERS reach a different decision and VOTE that decision on ELECTION DAY---NOTHING WILL CHANGE NOR SHOULD CHANGE.
