I have never tried to stir up trouble so I can make myself a victim! You think you are wise but you are misinformed. Don't speak about cases that you know nothing about.

You have constantly attacked me without a cause! What have I ever done against you. Tell me so I can repent! If not, make sure you really know the facts before you attack a pastor and call him names and make cheap accusations against him!

God's word says, I will bless them who bless you and curse them who curse you! If I have made any statement that is untrue about Anthony Syvester or anyone else, tell me what it is. Otherwise quit taking cheap shots at me. I can prove everything I have said from this blog or on the radio or corrected the statements as soon as made aware of my mistakes.

I do not know it all but I will defend your right to express any facts you are knowledgeable of. If you are calling names without substance to back it up you are just a cheap playground kidd who never grew up.

I nor anyone else can defend against a lie but the truth will make a person free. Truth has prevailed in this election and Anthony has been exposed as the decietful person he truly is. Why attack me using a fake name. Give me a call when you are ready to identify yourself or stay the coward that I think you are.

Jerry, Where did I call anyone a name? Are all on this blog void of the ability to understand what they read or void of reasoning?

Where in this last blog did I call anyone a name? Tell me if you can!

By the way, aren't we supposed to be talking about a library meeting?

We were until I was called a Quack! Typical response from those who know nothing about someone and they want to put a cheap label on someone just like they used to do as a kid on the playground!

Didn't he call himself the Bully Pulpit? Maybe he has named himself right!

What is clergy like?

When jesus was preaching, he called the pharisees Snakes, vipers, graves filled with dead mean's bones!

Maybe your definition of clergy is a pastor who is a mush who never has an opinion on anything.

The reason our country is like it is today is that the pastors did not stand up against unjust government and now it is too late to correct the disrespect that our society has for fathers, mothers, the elderly and pastors.

True men of God are going to be held responsible for what happens in our communities.

Scripture says that they killed their prophets. Every clergy in this city needs to stand up and challenge what is happening to Hopewell. The corruption is knee deep.

Every clergy needs to join with any group that is challenging the government against evil laws which strangles the citizens financially! The oppression of the poor is a direct offense to God.

The tea parties are speaking out and change you can believe in is coming!

Don't chide me with your self righteous definition of clergy until you have looked at the life of the one we clergy are supposed to copy.

Have you not read how Christ went into the temple and whipped the money changers and cried out "My house shall be called a house of prayer but you have made it a den fo thieves!"

You vipers have come against Rev. Curtis Harris all these years, but have you ever sat in his living room and had him share how he was put in jail just because he challenged the unjust illegal laws of the courts of America. Have you seen him weep as he described how the men that were with him were killed by the same spirit that some on this blog have shown to anyone who is against their unjust corrupt illegal laws that are clearly against the laws of God?

No you haven't but the God who sees in secret knows the true thoughts and intents of the heart. The Lord judge between me and thee!

It says right in your post "Stay the coward that I think you are" Thats calling names. I am a church going woman and I would be appalled if my preacher was on here going back and forth and calling people names. You should be above all of this. Why do so many people have such a bad opinion of you?

The Rev. Harris has made some enemies around Hopewell, but I think the overall view of him is that he's trying to help...HIS people. If it doesn't have to do with the black population, then it doesn't seem important to him. He should be lauded for the things he has accomplished in the past, but he should focus on all of Hopewell, not just one segment of the population. I think they were talking about Rev. Bennett. Don't know much about him, but it does seem he sparks some anger among a good number of people.

This sure is an interesting forum. I would like to know what laws are "clearly against the laws of God."

Just an interested observer looking for some enlightenment.

The ones created subjectively by a small nucleus of people who have abused their authority. In the words of Lord Acton: "Power corrupts; and absolute power corrupts absolutely." The good ole boys in Hopewell have monopolized power for years and crafted their own way of doing things--their own "laws," if you will--displaying a flagrant disregard for any other law, be it the Constitution, State or municipal Code, or simply moral rules governing the concepts of integrity, compassion, and intellectual purity ("rules of God." I think Rev. Bennett is referring to the Christian faith but these ideals are encompassed by many different religions when they refer to the "laws of God."). This has gone on for years unchecked in Hopewell, and the corruption has consequently persisted.

In a regime like this, the people with no power get abused. And when people get abused long and hard enough, they rebel, usually in the form of a civil revolution.

Rev. Bennett apparently is one of those abused people. That seems to be what he is saying. I have not lived his life, so I don't know.

The good thing is that he, along with the majority of other Hopewell citizens, are in the process of chipping away that wall of tyranny. That success was marked by the landslide vote on November 3, 2009.

The reverend is Charles Bennett. A quack who goes around looking to get into trouble, either himself or one of several minions, with various localities in this area so he can preach about injustice.
"Bully" is an appropriate name for you. "Blaming the victim" is a common abuser technique.

Daily Horoscope for December 29

Taurus

Someone gets in a bit of a muddle today and it could take some unravelling. For instance, they might get their wires crossed, leading to all sorts of misunderstandings. You might also encounter someone who is trying to rewrite history, perhaps because they can't bear to remember things as they really were. Should you set them straight or leave well alone?
