I'm not entirely convinced that they got the right person, but it's such a sad story.

I wrote about this kidnapping when I was in grade school and even visited the house in New Jersey. Very creepy. I didn't know that there are people who actually claim to be baby Lindbergh, that's even creepier.

We learned about this in Language and it's odd to me how in the ransom note the words "money", and "good" are misspelled. I know Bruno was from Germany but he had lived in the U.S for 11 years. He probably knew how to spell English words.
Even after he was offered life in prison without parole and welfare for his family he still did not admit to the kidnapping and murder of Charles Lindbergh Jr.
I know there were strong evidence that he had done it but seriously he could have taken the jail time if he would have just confessed. I do not believe Bruno Hauptmann did such a thing, but again that is my opinion and I will do further research.

I know it sounds a bit creepy, but my husband's father were sold to a couple in South Africa for the Lindbergh baby. The lady had a long history of correspondence to the kidnapper. I only have one letter left. There are a lot of intesesting facts! MMM, I don't know, just have that feeling, the real child wasn't the one found in the woods. I made a study and read numerous books, I'm really convinced after nearly 80 years, nobody knows the truth.

I cam across this letter while I was surfing the web for Lindbergh kidnapping information. I hope the link works. You may have to copy it into your browser.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Libra

Don't hold anything in, especially an emotional burden. The only way to drown the past is to open the floodgates. If you've got something to say, come right out and say it. The only people who might be offended by your honesty don't really matter in the grand scheme of things anyway, Libra. Great changes flow smoothly through your day. When you take charge, everyone feels at home.
