Shame on you for writing that. The mother petitioned for custody. She had a job and a home and appeared to be getting her life together. How can you put that much blame on the father when it was the filthy mother and her pimp/crackhead/criminal thug boyfriends who committed this act of ultimate evil? The father deserves 2% of the blame....not 50% as you ascribe to him. He raised her single-handedly.

The sad part is, that if this makes the community angry enough....maybe she has made a difference with her death instead of her life. But your community needs to let this poor child's death be your cause to say "ENOUGH"!...make that commitment...we all need to do this in memory of Shaniya and all the other child victims in our own communities...
