Hope Mills man accused of sex crimes

I sure hope Cumberland County Sheriff's detectives has some good solid evidence and not just the 13 year old girl's statement. I have seen in the past where the victim accused a person of doing these kinds of acts but it was really someone else.or the kid was lying about what really happened and wanted to get this person in real trouble because they couldn't have their way.

I agree with you, Somebody needs to show me the evidence. My heart goes out to the 13 year old, no doubt she needs help, but "God Love Her" the parents need it more!!!!!!!!!!
What hurts the most- are the young ladies that this happens to and they will never be believed.
Oh well, I believe in God. And I believe there will be an understanding in this case!

Here is a man with no criminal record and a family to support who is STILL being held on the statement of a minor child with a history of acting out and no solid proof! I understand that these are very serious offenses, and should be handled as such, but what is the Cumberland County Sheriff's dept going to do when it comes down to it and he has been held for over a month and he is innocent? What comfort will Mr. Rogers and his family have but his innocence, which he has conceeded all along? I pray that the end, whatever the outcome, is just and over soon, for his families sake as well as the girls. If this is a cry for help from this child she has just ruined a mans life in the process.
