Of course no one can approve of Hezbollah's act, but Israel's response is a terrible overreaction. I understand that Hezbollah's network weaves throughout Lebanese society, but that only means that Israel, if it decides to take invasive military action, needs to adjust its tactics. Launching hundreds of thousands of shells over the border inexcusable. Precise military action would take longer to achieve Israel's goals, but would have spared many innocent Lebanese, displacement, injury, and death.
Israel's aggressive military action went way too far. Not too surprising from a country that has a land area of more than 3 times that of it's original territory.

For arguments sakes, assuming every Arab in Palistine was a settler,(which is not true), and should give back the land to all Jews. Are we not settlers in Northern America, what if the Indians decided they want the land back, will Northern American retaliate?
The bottom line is what do we do today to have peace? It is very simple, Punish the quilty ONLY, leave the innocent peoples land alone, give back the illegal Jewish settlements to the Palistinians, go back to the green line, evacuate Shebba Farms, evacuate golen. Stop breaking internantional laws and UN reselutions. Then you will see ME's die off. Israel's choice. Israel's land policies has to change to have peace.
It is this kind of pacifistic logic that will be the end of Christians in Lebanon and all Lebanese Christians will be in the diasopora, and it has began. soon Lebanon will be ALL Muslim. WE Jews don't want to end-up like the Lebanese Christians.

awad, with all due respect, the guy makes very legitimate points. all must be equitable, to be sure, so if the UN is condemning israel, and is slow to do so against other groups, then this is certainly not equitable.
Of course Otto, I know that there is civil issues with the Palistinians on who should have control. There is no denaying that. All civil war will go thru this, no forigners will be able to help, their own people have to work it out. This is within their own people and should be filed by their own people. There are many Human rights organizations that do file, especially in strict Islam countries and they should. Each have to consintrate on their own back yard before looking at others.

The U.N is stepping in because of all the U.N reselutions in the past that Israel keeps breaking and also breaking international laws. It is more of a serious issue because 2 different races and countries are involved plus the power that Israel has compared to the Palistinians. To be fair U.N filed reselutions also on Arab countries and the Arab countries payed for them because they do not have the states vetoing them.

England must be terminated !! These English white supremacists are the cause of all Evil !! They raped and plundered the whole world, used Africans as slaves, killed many "coloured" peoples around the world Illegaly settled American-Indians Lands, Australians lands Maory-lands (New-Zealand) and they still occupy Ireland. Anybody who takes advice from this hypocritical-Brit, is like taking advice from a Nazi. Brits should not give anyone advice !!! No black-man would listen to an English mans morals. I strongly agree, first Hizbella had no right since they did not get consent from the Lebanese governmet and its people. Hizbella is partly to blame for this. The lebanese gov has to have control of its army and because it is a new gov, there is still alot of Syrian/Iranian influences and will take time to build a strong Lebanese army due to the fact lebanon was controled (and at some level is still controlled) by the Syrians for over 30 years.

Any true Lebanese is sick of forieners using their blood and soil at the expense of forgien goals. Any lebanese arguing that should move to Syria and Iran and use their people and soil to fight their wars.

Israel did not fight last years war based on the 2 solders, Israel had plans to attack Lebanon 3 months before any IDF's was kidnapped, the Israeli governemt confessed that. They wanted to destroy Hezbella at any expense. As a result, they murdered over 1100 innocent lebanese civilians, destroyed Lebanons infrastructure, destroyed villages, sent hundren of thousands of innocent lives to become refuges with no homes, and distroyed the Lebanese economy. And at the end, they did not get the 2 solders and Hizbella is still active. What has all this gained? Now more ME's are going to be on Hizbella's side and now they are saying L'Quida may be in Lebanon in Palistinain refugee camps. I pray Israel changes their land policies and pray these ME's leave Lebanon.

Tina, there is no outside Samaritans aside from these 700. All were forcibly converted to Islam 1300 years ago and intermarried with real Arabs and are now Palestinians of Samaria including the towns in what is known in Israel as the "Meshulash" north west of Samaria.

i agree with many of the things you say, but then again, we say lgical things that no-one truly hears. i always thought that i could deal with things in a better way is i was in Olmerts shoes.
if talking about settlements, well i dont have a clear opinion about that specific issue. i know that these were palestinian lands and it belongs to them legally, but it would be a lie if i said thatits not a nice thing in my mind. the settlements are the result of the Zionist dream of the complete land of israel, something i truly believe in. it comes with many problems. indeed. but its a nice dream. however, if giving up on it means that israeli children could sleep peacefully at night- i would be the first one to make a move. i can say with full hear that im proud of myself for daring to dream of peace. my family and friends will probebly laugh at me if they read this, will say that im just too innocent. but well. lets just say its complecated. not easy to live in israel, and after my army service im pretty sure that i will want to leave this country for a few long mounths. maybe things will start to look better from far away.maybe the world will finally realize that the western world are eating with a golden spoon, and stop looking at us with a "snob look". i know how it is...people are sure they can solves someone elses problem, but they will stay dumbfounded while entering their shoes. i say that before direcly judging us(and i not mean you specificly, but in general)people should start thinking what whould they do if they were us. its getting quit annoying when people are hurring to blaim. before checking. this threads title itself is kind of annoying, if to be completely honest.

I am sorry but I have a differnt point of view than yours, I attack people that are quilty excluding race or religion. Every human has their own soul, some may be good and some may be bad. This is in all religions and race. I do not want all Jews murderd based on another Jew's actions, same with a Arab christian or any one else. If all society would think this way, there will be no human life on this planet.

This is why ME's and ZE's are the blame for this. One keeps taking land and both kill each others "kind".

This thinking will be the end of the world based on today's weapon's technology. I pray not.

Lipush, I have always admired your open mind and honesty. And you are right, it is hard to judge if you are not in their shoes. But being in someone's shoes might distract what is good or bad because emotions kick in instead logic. But again, that may be a good thing too.

I wish you safety when it is time for you to go to the IDF. Your parents should be proud on how they raised someone that is able to listen to both sides.

God bless.

I fully appreciate whAt you say about your family but I am refering Only to a LEGAL Israel.... that once achieved gives no reason for Arab hostility or UN sanctions re Israel. yeah you're absolutely right. i can say that part of the fact that i have the opinions i have, is because i have arab freinds. i can defenetly say that they give me a lot of things to think about. if it wasn't for them, i'm sure that i would have think otherwise. i'm glad that i have them.
it to tell the truth, my IDF service to come i kind of scaring me. my parents don't have any connection with the arab side. altough i do have, they seems to get a very negative strong opinion about them. my dad was very tough when he was a soldier. he's the most gentle and funny man ever, and i love and admire him with all my heart, but in this particular subject, he's very narrow-minded.he hates the arabs. i can hardly judge someone that saw his friends killed and his world falling, but his opinion with the palestinian-israeli conflict is clear. and my mom supports him with everything. they both served in the army over 20 years. both in the air-force, the strongest army in the world.so they have, even when they are trying to hide it....some...expactations about the way i should act in IDF. i don't want to disappoint them, i want to be loyal to my country, but i don't want to hurt my morals either. i think that's why i stated firmly that i don't want to serve any near the palestinian boarders. i know that if i will be there, and will have to do what the soldiers now are doing, the eyes of my palestinian friend shiri will pop into my head, asking what am i doing. simple as that.
i remember how it was at the time of the war. i was working at the holiday, and every time i drove to the city i bought a newspaper to hear what's going on, because my cousin fought in the north, leaving a wife and two babies behind, and i was really worried.i was working with the children in the camp, and the guides were talking about the war only between themselves, because the children were too young to hear it. we were lucky because we lived far away from the line of fire. in Haifa there were friend of ours, so they came to stay with us. we normally were 3 in the house. me and my parents. then when they came, we turned out to be 14.3 little girld were with them. the youngest was only 3 years old, and she suffered from trauma. airplains noises. she always began to scream. and i was 17 then. they youngest in the house- then suddenly they treated me like an adult. the one that should take care of the kids, because the adults were always gone.....
and it's about to happen again. the 8 year old little girl who was here told me that now they are making them preperd in the schooles for another war. in my class they are always laughing about "the war that will come in the summer". we all know it will come, just we don't know when.
so this is how it is. i guess we should live with that. but hay, who said life arn't interesting?
i guess.....

You really are a very sick individual who has as your parallel the fanatics that fly planes into buildings. It is your type of person that leads to "isolation of your fellows" just as Bush "all alone has caused the US to become a very despised country, though the bulk of its population are very sane and "peace loving"
One point though no we "do not occupy N Ireland" it is part of the UK and is such because its population is primarily Prodest and while the rest is Roman Catholic and was a similar division to what happened in Palestine. The scenario arose because of the clash between both sections of the Christian faith.
A parallel would exist if the Orthodox that resent Israel existing attacked the Zionists to drive them from Israel. As for the rest well you better start back before the Vikings (including settlement of the Americas). It though is all just now history.

For Khaybar

Finally found a quote I wished to post you.

(For it is not the evil of history that is its significance and it is not by the evil of our time that our time can be understood. In the furnace of war and hatred, the City of those who love one another is drawn and fused together in the heroism of charity under suffering, while the city of those who hate everything is scattered and dispersed and its citizens are cast out in every direction, like sparks, smoke, and flame.) IT REFERS TO THE DANISH ACTIONS RE THE NAZI AND JEWS

And to it I link
1/ if we take “Nationality of” as ancestral links this Mutt has 1/64 Danish on “maternal side”
2/ My “maternal” Grandfather with distant cousins played part in “Kiaer Line”
3/ he got back to England in Nov 1944 (from Sweden) and was killed in London just before Christmas that year by V2 bomb
4/ like me he cared for all mankind
5/ I am fed up seeing a minority of those connected with the ones he risked his life for shooting “themselves in the foot” and stooping to the same level as those that he saved others from ,…..,, the Nazi …by their bigotry and hate AND "FALSE CLAIMS" yes I mean the ZE element of the Jews.……. He might as well have ….”turned the other cheek”

OK “penny drop” of why this “mutt” takes interest in Israel.
But your “city” will be always the one that has its citizens” cast out in every direction not just “like” but as sparks, smoke and flames. Your hatred and bigotry will guarantee that. It will be DESERVED.

I'm sure when he says Arabs, He means Muslim-Arabs. Your enemy's too, in Lebanon. In 15 years there will be no Christians in Lebanon, and those that stayed will be under their cruel rule and would try to seek refuge in Israel, where the Christian and Druze Arabs are KINGS !!!

P.S. Your mistake was touching the race issue. Before i showed-up on this forum, You probably never heard of the Mesopotamian-Jews, their Ancient-history and their plight. You probably thought all Jews came from Europe. To this day my mother speaks at home only Aramaic mixed with Arabic.
A little secret i would like to share with you. Before i came to this forum and witnessed all the Jew-hate, i personally couldn't stand Ashkenazim (E.Euro-Jews) But now i understand our internal (Jewish) divisions are our worst enemy's. I went so far as to write a thread on the "Israel-Forum" and on the "Judaism-Forum" (in Topix.net ) called: "The Jewish community within KHAZARIA"
After much study's. Aside from that i'll have you Know that Islam will be the End of all Ancient-Peoples, including Awad's Christian minority in Lebanon. Not neceserilly by flesh-death but mostly cultural-death.
Actually I know quite a lot about Jewish migrations round the world and those that are converts not original. Especially a lot of the "speculation" re lost tribes. But I also know a lot about the atrocities on man by man through history as well.
In factI also know a great deal of the actions of us suposedly intelligent species on all other of Gods creatures on this planent.
If humans ceased to exist we would be "sorely missed" there would be nothing trying to destroy everything on this "beautiful planet" anymore it would return to being a true "Garden of Eden" not the "human slum" that it is. Then I would not have my other name on other "forums" ......."concience of Noah"

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Scorpio

Today's Lunar Eclipse at the Full Moon stirs up powerful emotions during the next two weeks (as it has done since the Gemini Solar Eclipse last month), and it may not be a very pleasant experience. Are you feeling rather compulsive and obsessive? Financial issues could be a problem,, especially if they appear to threaten your sense of emotional security. Don't let jealousy or envy make you do things that will set other people against you.
