The problems are so big and the solutions so simple.

Problem #1 2billion dollor shortfall

Problem #2 Superferry in bankrupcy

Problem #3 Two boats from "the boat" moth balled.

Simple Solution: Anchor the Superferry 200 miles west of Maui, put casino in the auto bay area of the superferry.

Shuttle people to the Superferry-casino via the two "The Boat" shuttles between Maui, Hawaii, and Oahu.

2 billion raised in no time with Trump running the Superferry/casino taxed at 1/3 of casino take.

Too bad Djou is nothing more than a Mainland Lawyer cleaning up and doing diversion for Lingle.
I guess that 4,000 bucks that Abrahamoff gave to Lingle doesn't count because she "Gave" it back when it was discovered huh?
Lingle is corrupted as anything, and you trying to spin this is pretty transparent.
Grinchie - you seem to be ignoring who has run Hawaii into the ground for the past fifty plus years.

Finally, the layoff notices went out today for 1100 State Workers. About damn time! Mabye this will get the unions into a negotiating mood and encourage them to come to the table with a more substantial offer to help the State trim labor costs. If not, Lingle needs to que up the next round, and SOON!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Pisces

Getting your point across may be hurtful, but it will be appreciated. You need to make the changes necessary for your happiness. Expect disruptions at home, but try not to take things to heart. Shared finacial obligations are somewhat probelematic. Acceptance is the key. Do not be afraid to ask for help. You will be surprised at how willing others are to come to your side.
