It's a great place to visit, BUT not to live. The schools are very racist, and the people you meet everyday are also. I live here with the army and honestly I hate it.

Those are some really good reasons.
I'm on vacation but I wouldn't want to live here, they had some people at one of the tables last night talking about Hawaii's slumlords and 20 minute evictions. That's just too third world for me.
If I lived in Hawaii I'de never rent and it's way too expensive to buy. Where I'm from I have an entire spread for less than the cost of one little cracker box in Hawaii.
Going home tomorrow, I just come for the beaches, bars and girls.
