The Blood Bank's philosophy is that a blood donation goes into the community bank so that all Hawaii patients may receive blood products, regardless of whether someone donated in a specific person's name, Chang said.

This person does have a point in doing some selective blood donation for personal reasons. An analogy can be compared to doing financial contributions to a particular charity rather than putting it into some "general" fund for public usage.

This option should remain open for individuals like this person. I remember once the blood bank called me asking for some emergency donation for a 62 year old patient, however he needed at least 20 pints of blood because of problems with his blood congealing.

In order words, my donation will only serve as a stop gap measure, probably leaked out and rendered useless, while it could be put to better use. Because I carried a rare type that is mostly used for infants, I refused to donate to someone who has already enjoyed a long adult life verses an infant.

Doctors do this all the time and is called triage.

It's a matter of choice that the donor should have and not be placed into some "general fund" category. Who knows, your blood could be used to treat some criminal, save his life so he can molest, rob, rape or kill another!

Certainly not yours alice, they don't want any patient to end up in the nut house from your donation!

The place you work at partime is questionable, and I'm not talking about IHS. Also you seem to frequent Chinatown which is a no no..who know why you hang around there.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Leo

If you look closely, you'll see a black cloud hovering over a loved one's head. They'll find the smallest excuse for losing their temper or throwing a tantrum, so tiptoe around them or try to jolly them out of their filthy mood. If the situation continues you may decide that it would be better to get the inevitable argument out of the way than to pussyfoot around them any longer.
