I do not consider trukese people Micronesians ........no offence. Their land may be in micro but their really African american I mean have you seen their grill.....talk about bling bling huh. Their so f***in gangsta. I don't think Hawaiians are real Hawaiians to I think their the lighter form of Jamaicans. Really think about it doesn't this sound like a conspirecy.......are they after the governent? If it is I know Obama is safe since his African American, or is he? Since blacks are known to shoot other blacks. I'm on to something here......my investigation is still on going I will put in the effort to inform the public of new information.

lol. hawaiians are 98% filipino's, koreans, chinese, portugese. most of the people that are posting here with so much hate and anger towards the Micronesians are apparently those that are working under a manager who's probably a Micronesian. besides, Hawaii is only an island...locals there been pushed around all their lives. so quit whinning and focus on your own lives. lol. sensitive locals.

Aloha you all,
It is hard to believe that in a state where they market everything with aloha, one would find such degrading remarks regarding the new comers, Micronesians. Chillax a bit, and enjoy life!
Micronesians are friendly people, many of them are paying taxes and do assist the state in many capacities. Let's give them a break, they are new and they are only trying to settle in, yet we are already beating on them to get out. ARE WE THAT HEARTLESS? WE ARE IN ALOHA STATE,SO LET'S SHOW SOME ALOHA.

Micros are a very cultured and interesting people. Hawaiians and Micros don't like each other because Hawaiians claim culture and racial superiority and massive federal money. Micros don't buy their shibai.

Hawaiian are mad cuz they have to go to school to learn their culture. Micronesians still do have their culture...it shows how weak the Hawaiians are! The Micronesians are stronger and smarter cuz they have more than 4 big Kahunas countries come into the islands but none of them took over their culture.. very understandable why Hawaiians do not like them. Sad! Micronesians are people caring humans. They do not only help each other, they always respectful and humble around others as well.

It is quite sad to see such crime in our community but the fact is you can't blame the whole for few rotten apples..oh and POHINAI i just wanted to tell you to BREAK A TOOTH for every so called fact that you make up...I have plenty of family and friends from chuuk that went to school and go to school. Your statistics come from the mind of a falsified preacher(YOU). The real fact is you judge people by what race they are causing you to fear that race as well. We're all human beings...people like you are filthier than any criminal out there because you are a blasphemer.

Every single encounter with a Micronesian that I have ever had has been an ordeal. I am normally culturally acceptive and am in favor of equality for all, whether it be gays, blacks, hispanics, or what have you. But after a recent occurrence near dillingham plaza I had to change my mind. My friend and I were walking down the street after school to meet another friend to see a movie. We didn't exactly have anything to fear, as we are high school students and have never before been assaulted nor robbed. As we continued on about two bus stops from dillingham plaza a large Micronesian man stopped us. He said and I quote "eh faka give me one fakin dolla rite now or i goin fakin shoot you" my friend and I were aghast at this and informed him we had no money. My Kamehameha Schools laptop was in my backpack, and my wallet was in my back pocket with around 40 dollars inside. However he was quite ignorant and after my friend provided him with a few dollars he began to walk away. Once he was 1 or 2 blocks down the road I called the police. Upon reaching 911 he ran back. I quickly shoved my phone down my school uniform pants, as he grabbed my friend by his throat. My friend is quite short and is only 5'3. This is when the foul Micronesian man changed his statement to "eh faka i can stab you faka." Eventually he walked away when my friend made a soft moan of "brahhh" when he again turned around as though we had blasphemed his name and again threatened us. Only this time his statement changed to "What you like me punch you, yo heart goin stop". Finally he walked away for good. Quite shaken up my friend and I walked away. Not to be bothered again until friday night. While at the kamehameha football game we sat near a puddle, singing along with our friends to all the cheers and jumping for touch downs, I accidentally splashed the man in front of me, who was a large Micronesian man. He stood up and told me in midst of everyone that if I committed what seemed to be such a heinous crime against him, he would "kick my ass." Now every day as I ride the bus home I fear the Micronesians around me. I am only 14 years old and must live cowering, simply trying to get home. The look given to me by Micronesian men is returned by utter submission, this is no way for me to live my life. I am afraid if such ghastly situations continue to happen what my large uncles, brothers, cousins, and even sisters will want to do to these people. I feel no compassion, no sympathy, and no pain for the people committing these crimes, for the people crowding the buses, spitting on our pristine streets, or even the women and children of their race spreading their third world diseases to this beautiful paradise in which I have lived for 14 years, and plan to continue to live for the rest of my life. If we allow such things to continue, I will no longer wish to live here. My only wish is for a solution protecting the keiki, the makuahane, and the makuahine who reside in hawaii from these wrong doers.

Objective citizen in USA Mahatma Ghandi once said " You must be the change you wish to see in this world" In the same way we must change our ways of dealing with these people. We must take preventative measures against the crimes being rapidly committed by these Micronesians. You must first understand the pain that the victims feel. It is the aloha state, and we must love on those hurt by the Micronesians. But under what circumstances should we allow people who commit such life endangering acts settle in? These people are like glue, it will be easier to get off of our back before it dries.

Turn your back and look at the glass....watch where he goes...stay in contact with the police....then ID him. Or live in fear everyday. Your choice.
