I believe Kirk Langford is a good person, as his mother says, and I believe she knows him better than anyone. However, I also believe we all have good and bad in us and are free to choose which of these traits we decide to live our lives by. On the day Masumi Watanabe lost her life, Kirk Langford decided to let the bad in him take over. He has stated that he knew what he did was wrong, however, his own selfish needs to keep his job became more important than allowing an innocent young woman the chance to keep her life. As such I consider Kirk Langford a danger to society and it's a shame the so called "experts" fail to realize this.:.

I'm tired of societies cry baby way of life.
Time out for kids is not a punishment. A referral at school is the same as a hall pass. Spanking your kids in public when they act out isn't a bad thing. Lankford should get what he did to others.(eye for a eye from the bible) Hawaii should impose a death sentence. Why do you guys sit around and wonder why we are having so many problems this day in age? We need to toughen up.

If I understand English, doesn't "Life Imprisonment" mean just that....with a huge period at the end?

What kind of logic is the addition of "with the possibility of parole?"

Kirk hasn't lived with his mother since 1997 when she lost custody of him and his younger brother to his father. She doesn't have a clue of the trouble he has been in. It was something different every week! "Good" people do not take another persons life. "Good" people do not put a dead body in their truck and drive around with them for 12 hours.
