Judged: 1 1 Reid made an allegation that Mitt Romney had not paid any taxes at all for 10 years. Prove it where Reid demands to see Romney's tax returns. I see you still believe in fairy tales that only reside with the fringe lunatics. Reid is not running for president and isn’t subject to the same sort of transparency demands that a presidential nominee is. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I think they were FS, the "condos-(lol). We got a flyer in the mail, I think, and threw it away. Might have only been advertised to residents? I don't see them on the MLS. They are across from the library and on the block that, I think, they are talking about a shopping center going up on. Middle of town. I have various concerns. One is my daughter might expect to live in it and it could turn into an 'undesirable''pad', if you know what I mean. Another, when you drive by, it looks like it needs new paint or siding and probably a roof. The maintenance fees might jump WAY up at some point. Murdock (I'm assuming he owned it.) let a lot of properties go down, even the fancy hotels need a lot of work. Anyway, because of you two, I think I'll make one call, and if it was meant to be, it might happen. 70k w/15 down, what would the payments be on 55 for a 30 year fixed @3.5? About 300/mo? |

Obama says, "If Nasa landed on Mars, they didn't do that Someone did it for them."
I'm building a wall today, I wish Obama would send someone to build it for me, otherwise I'm going to take all the credit and money. |

Judged: 1 1 1 I didn't acknowledge that at all moron. In addition to oil, Alaska has a robust economy which includes military, coal, timber, fishing and crabbing, space technology and tourism. As far as weak explanation of the Hawaii unemployment stats: facts really hurt your liberals heads, don't they. Now change the batteries in your pocket pal and go climb back under your rock. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Reid is the poster child for the "do as I say, not as I do" liberal crowd. He calls out Romney with some BS about him not paying taxes for 10 years, then states that if there was nothing to hide, Romney would show his taxes. Yet Reid hasn't ponied up his returns, and still passes legislation in the dead of the night. Hypocrites. |

In politics, a charge unanswered is a charge believed. |
Whatever you say. "Thursday, July 12, 2012 Oil accounts for 92% of Alaska's general fund spending; highest percentage in history A new report by Scott Goldsmith for the UAA Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) analyzes Alaska's oil revenues and spending since Alaska North Slope oil began flowing through the Trans Alaska Pipeline. The state has collected $170 billion in oil revenues since 1977 (in today's dollars), and $141 billion of those revenues were initially deposited into the General Fund - accounting for 85% of General Fund revenues since 1977. For 2012, the share was 92%- the highest share ever. With no personal income or sales tax, and limited revenues from non-petroleum sources, Alaska is highly dependent on one source, and a handful of taxpayers, to fund state government. Also found this from 2010:
"The Alaska economy is the 45th largest in the United States, behind Maine and ahead of Rhode Island." Once I stop laughing so hard I'll try and find some more recent figures. |

Judged: 1 1 1 ""The charge is not that Mitt Romney paid less than a factory worker, or whatever, but it's a bit more vicious than that from Harry Reid. He said he has an anonymous source telling him that [Romney] paid no taxes for something like 10 years. So the president has talked a lot about change in the tone of this town. Why hasn't he picked up the phone to ask Harry Reid to stop making a charge like that?" FOX News White House correspondent Ed Henry asked WH press secretary Jay Carney at today's briefing. "I think the idea that people tell Harry Reid what to do is inconsistent with what everyone here understands to be [the case]," Carney responded. Carney then referred to several campaign attacks on Romney such as paying a lower effective tax rate and outsourcing jobs. "That's not the charge," Henry corrected Carney. "The charge is that he didn't pay taxes for ten years. Does the White House believe that allegation?" "Yeah, I would refer you to Senator Reid. I can't -- only Senator Reid knows his source, which he has discussed. And I would refer you to that," Carney responded. "Nancy Pelosi today said,'Harry Reid made a statement that is true. Somebody told him it is a fact.' Do you agree with that rationale?" Henry pressed Carney. "I haven't seen that statement," Carney claimed. "Again, I would refer you to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid." "Harry Reid says he hasn't paid taxes in 10 years and that's just a fact?" Henry asked. "I think the President is focused on -- and you hear him say this every day -- issues that matter to the American people," Carney said, suggesting that Reid's accusation is not an issue that matters. At this point, ABC's Jon Karl jumps in to try to pry something out of Carney. "One more on Harry Reid. It's a simple question. Does the president think that this allegation coming from Harry Reid, without any evidence, made on the Senate floor, is that below the belt? Does that cross the line?" Karl asked. Carney responded by saying that President Obama believes in full disclosure of tax documents when you are running for the presidency. "The issue here is one of transparency and, again, as the president sees it, in regards to his candidacy, one, it is an important tradition. It allows the American people to get a sense of the candidate's background," Carney said to the press. "You can talk to Senator Reid. I'm sure he'll address this issue if you ask him. He certainly speaks for himself. The president is focused on the issues that matter most to the American people," Carney said." |

Judged: 2 2 2 There's nothing to explain. The only thing I see is a desperate attempt by you for providing a link then cut-n-pasting the contents. You still did not prove where Reid "demanded" to see Romney's tax returns. |

Judged: 2 Wrong! There's a lot to explain. Don't go changing the subject. Guru asked a simple question. Come on Carney, I mean pau, explain it. You're right about one thing, I see a desperate attempt by obama to “distance” himself from Reid’s clumsy slander. Why is that? Please explain. No cutesy remarks, just for once, explain. |
